Boston's North End - Food and History
1. This is an excellent food tour. Not only is the food delicious and plentiful, but the buildings and neighborhoods we saw were historic and classically Bostonian, enhanced greatly by guide Elizabeth's excellent commentary. In less than a mile over easy cobblestones and sidewalks, she led us through at least three neighborhoods with iconic buildings that made the tour special and more than just about food. The first stop at the Union Oyster House was terrific, so much history and things to see, plus the chowda and cornbread were superb.
2. The variety and amount of food was excellent. Everyone was full at the end. The lobsta roll at the Boston Public Market hit the spot. The cannoli at Modern finished off the stroll through the Italian neighborhood and eating it in the square across from the Paul Revere House was a perfect setting.
3. Elizabeth provided another excellent and informative commentary and history lesson getting to the famous Regina's Pizzeria, which will satisfy any customer still hungry at that point.
4. The last stroll through another historic part of Boston ended with a surprise dessert, a fitting finish for a surprisingly complete foodie tour in the North End of Boston. We've been on many food tours. This is one of the best for overall value, quality and quantity of food, and knowledge of the city and its history by the guide.
A satisfying and delicious food tour that touched on historic buildings and Bostonian lore and kept our rapt attention for over three hours. Well done, Elizabeth!

A Perfect Bite of Boston’s North End
If you’re looking for the perfect way to experience Boston’s North End, this food tour with Elizabeth B is it. She made the entire experience engaging, informative, and just the right amount of quirky to keep things fun from start to finish.
Every stop was packed with incredible flavors, but the food truly stole the show. Pauli’s lobster roll was an absolute standout—not just for how delicious it was, but also for the chance to meet Pauli himself, which made it even more memorable. The pizza at Regina’s easily lived up to the hype (arguably the best I’ve had), and ending with cannolis from Modern felt like the sweetest possible finale.
Beyond the food, Elizabeth brought the neighborhood to life with rich history and stories that made you appreciate every bite even more. It never felt like just a tour—it felt like stepping into the heart of the North End.
Honestly, it was the perfect end to a perfect trip. Highly recommend if you want amazing food, great company, and a deeper connection to Boston. 💚

Loved the tour and the guide!
We were lucky to get a nice sunny day despite the snow. Gabe was a complete delight, so friendly and kind. He showed us some of his favourites restaurants, pointed out the cool sights, and gave us a little history lesson in between some delicious bites. Come hungry, leave full! The clam chowder (which I was nervous about) was actually terrific and ended up being one of my favourite meals on the trip! I also looooved the cannoli, and I’m not a cannoli person. Seriously, so good. Ten out of ten guide and ten out of ten experience. A great intro to Boston and its cuisine.
