Good overview of the city...

Good overview of the city and Harbor. Tour operators are very knowledgeable. They allow the kids to steer the boat. We had a great time!

Quick, fun tour of major Boston attractions

We had a great time, mostly due to the guide! Tip: Avoid seats 1A and 1B. Those seats are right behind the driver which makes it hard to see anything in front, especially for seat 1B. Our rating would be higher if not for the compromised view.

Perfect Way to Start your Boston Trip

We absolutely loved this tour and couldn’t have picked a better way to start our Boston trip! Our guide was energetic, entertaining, and full of interesting facts. She kept the whole family engaged, from pretending to be a roller derby version of Susan B. Anthony to having us quack whenever things were going well—so much fun! We learned a lot without ever feeling like we were sitting through a history lesson. The Charles River portion was a highlight, and even though we were a little nervous because of a recent accident, we felt completely safe throughout. We even got to sit in the driver’s seat during the water portion for pictures, which was a fun bonus. Highly recommend this tour for families! It’s a fun and memorable way to see the city, learn some history, and get oriented at the beginning of your Boston trip.

The ride was a great history tour while being hilarious at the same time. The host was the best. The whole thing was about 90 minutes.

Fun and unique way to see Boston!

My husband and I did the Boston Duck Boat Sightseeing City Tour with Cruise and had such a great time. The amphibious vehicle itself is a novelty in the best way, and our conDUCKtor kept us laughing the entire ride with cheesy jokes and genuinely interesting facts about the city's history and landmarks. We cruised past the Common, the North End, and the Financial District before splashing right into the Charles River, which the kids on board especially loved. They even let my husband and I take a turn driving once we were out on the water, which was such a fun surprise and definitely a highlight of the trip. Getting to see Boston from both the streets and the water in one tour made this feel like incredible value, and it's such a great orientation if you're new to the city. The narration struck a nice balance between fun and informative without ever feeling like a lecture. We'd absolutely do it again and recommend it to anyone visiting Boston for the first time.

Great and Fun Tour with an Exceptional Captain!

Went on a Duck Boat Tour on August 31st. I was on a cruise ship and this tour was offered, but not as an accessible tour. So, I booked directly with the tour operator, and the booking process with Jesse was easy. My husband is handicapped and in a wheelchair and the duck boat does have a lift, which is why I booked directly with the tour operator. The process of booking and getting on and off the boat with my husband all went very smoothly. Our tour guide, Captain Runamuck, was exceptional. He gave us a lot of information during the tour, but also kept it light and fun with his commentary. If you are lucky enough to have him as your captain, you will really enjoy him. The tour is just long enough and for those willing to sit up front, you can get a chance to drive the duck boat after it hits the water (I did!). Captain Runamuck took my photo as I was driving so I have a nice souvenir. This is a great and informative tour that is also a lot of fun. I highly recommend it!
