Our day with Ridwan was excellent, and a real highlight of our trip to Indonesia. Ridwan arrived promptly and was very pleasant and communicative throughout, and kindly offered to take photos for us at both sites. He took us exactly where we needed to go and made sure we always knew where to meet him. He took us to a lovely lunch spot near Prambanan overlooking rice paddies. Both Borabudur and Prambanan were incredible sites to see. We highly recommend!

We went on the Borobudur sunrise trip. The whole experience was seamless. Our driver, Jared was on time, friendly, and informative. Borobudur temple is beautiful with a long interesting history. We also saw the sunrise over the tip of one of the volcanos. Worth the early wake.
My driver Ridwan was great! We had good chats about the area and he gave me some good food recommendations close to where I was staying. After a perfect hotel pickup, we got to Borobudur with plenty of time to check in and join the group tour. The view was phenomenal and the sunrise was gorgeous. I appreciated the history of the temple. The breakfast served afterward at the base of the temple grounds was delicious as well. We then went to Prambanan and i was set up with a wonderful guide there who explained the building of, destruction of and rebuilding of the temples on the grounds. As we toured i got told the story the carved reliefs detailed and an explanation of the dieties the temples are built to honor. Afterward we stopped for coffee that I wanted to try and am incredibly grateful for the experience. A very good and very successful tour for my last day in the city.

We enjoyed every minute of the day. Our guide Dhanu brought us to the two temples of Borobudur and Prambanan while sharing many insights about Indonesia. The visits have been fantastic and very well organized. At the end of the day we enjoyed a cup of the famous kopi luwak coffee in a real rostery. We highly recommend this tour and our guide Dhanu! A really nice tour! :) It was so beautiful to see and worth the money. Our driver Yeldhy was a really good driver and very kind. He explained the schedule very clearly and told us more about the history, religion and culture of Yogyakarta and the temples.
