Bordeaux is a special Wine region. There is much to understand about how French wine world works. We started our OLALA journey with a 3 hour MASTERCLASS with Hugo who was outstanding in teaching the left and Right bank St Emilion regions. We tasted several nice wines to help tie all the info together. Our second day was with a group in a very comfy Mercedes van and we did Right Bank tastings at Chateaux’s and visited the UNESCO village of St Emilion. Day 3 was private for us and the Left Bank Chareauxs were incredible. Our guide Valentin was outstanding both days. Valentin has special relationships with the Chateaux personnel and we got VIP treatment. The lunches both days were very nice. We had a fabulous time...
We had a fabulous time appreciating local wine with Lord Antoine of Olala. We learned a lot about Bordeaux winemaking and tasted some delicious wines. It was great fun and we highly recommend this experience.

Great way to learn about the wine regions around Bordeaux
This is a great way to learn about the various styles or wines that are made in different regions around Bordeaux. We had a great guide who taught us all about the history and focus of each region. We even got to mix our own red wine to discover what blend we prefer.

Fun and informative
Very informative and fun, we really enjoyed the workshop. Note this is really a learning experience about wines in the region, so worth doing as early in your trip as possible to then guide which wines to try at restaurants and which wineries to visit.
