We took the 2 1/2 hour private tour of St. John. It was a good overall experience to see the highlights of St. John. Its a good option if you are only visiting for the day and dont want to rent a car or transport a car from St, Thomas.

This was a great way to familiarize myself with St John. We hit all the high points and our driver/guide, Evan was very friendly and informative. His information on the beaches was very helpful and we used his advice when did go to the beach. The roads are really not "driver friendly", but we felt safe and secure with Evan. It was worth the time, that's for sure, if you have not been to St John before-)my last time there was in 1964 and things have changed a bit since then), and an excellent introduction to the island and what it has to offer as well as the history and high points-the stop at The Windmill was a nice break and breathtaking.

Our tour guide was nice, friendly and courteous. We did not get to go to the National Park Museum or to the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins. Our tour started at 2:30 and ended at 4:15 pm. We didn't realize the time, the guide should have advised us that we still had 45 minutes left to tour. It would be nice if they would reach out to us and take us this Friday or Saturday to the National Park Museum and Anaaberg Ruins to finish what we paid $ 300.00. Basically just an expensive taxi ride.

Regarding the National Park Museum, we would like to clarify that there is not a museum on the island that is presently open but rather a National Park Visitors Center, which we believe is the location you referenced. The Visitors Center was unfortunately closed during your visit, and while it is not part of our regularly advertised tour itinerary, we consistently strive to accommodate guests’ special requests whenever possible. The Center is closed today Friday due to the Federal Holiday, as well as on weekends, which affected its availability. With respect to the Annaberg Sugar Plantation, it is typically a standard stop during our tours, unless guests request an alternative such as including a lunch instead. Since our tours are private, we always do our best to honor such preferences within the scheduled timeframe and make adjustments to personalize the experience. Your tour concluded in Cruz Bay at 4:37 pm. Had the National Park Visitor's Center been open, your tour would have continued until nearly 5 pm, closely matching the planned end time and allowing for an even fuller experience.
