Was disappointed that the only amount of time at Boldt castle was about 90 mins at time of departure from boat, so by the time you got processed up there and time to return you really only had about an hour, which is definitely not enough time.
If you are not at the boat early, they will leave without you. No refund, no voucher for future visit.
We booked this tour to get us to Boldt Castle. The guide (Michel) and the Captain were entertaining & gave us detailed information about the islands we were passing & how the islands were divided between Canada & the US. I would recommend this tour.
This is a wonderful tour to Boldt Castle! We had about an hour ride to the castle, with a very knowledgeable and fun captain and guide, who provided us with a lot of history of the islands and what we were seeing along the way. There was a 90 minute stop at Boldt Castle, which was the perfect amount of time to tour the castle, see the movie and walk the grounds. The return trip was also narrated by our guide, and we saw many beautiful homes along the river. Highly recommend, especially if you love historical homes with an interesting back story.
Amazing sights and Brian was super knowledgeable I would go again!!!
This was the highlight of our travel to the Thousand Islands region. Not only is the area amazingly beautiful, but our guide Liam narrated the tour with historical and humorous stories of the islands and their residents. Liam's stories are not to be missed!
The history and beauty of the Thousand Islands was very captivating. Our captain and guide (who interjected his own personal experiences) made the tour invaluable! I enjoyed the tour immensely.
We had an amazing experience on the tour! Our tour guide Brad and Captain Jack were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! We learned a lot, laughed a lot and just had a great time!!
Great time on the boat and at Boldt Castle and the lighthouse. Tour guide and Captain were great and super knowledgeable! Definitely worth it!
An excellent experience. Captain Michael gave us a smooth ride. Our guide Michel was very informative and had extra visuals about some of the history. He was good natured and very pleasant. The castle was gorgeous and we had plenty of time on the island. I would highly recommend.
