After picking you up from your hotel, we board our boat and our tour begins. Our first stop is Aquarium Bay and we take a swimming break here.
We approach the magnificent sandy beach where the caretta carettas nest, get on the small boat from our big boat and move into the canal.
During the cruise, we see the historical Rock Tombs and our guide gives brief information. The temple tombs what we see today are the remnants of the Kaunos necropolis that once had over 170 rock-cut graves. The tombs mostly date back to mid 4th century BC and have influences of Anatolian, Greek and Persian elements. Although the tombs are inaccessible now, their imposing sight (seen best from across the Dalyan River or even sitting in a boat in this river) is a memorable one. You can see these sights depicted on covers of tourist guides, travel brochures and even in some TV documentaries.
The mud baths in Dalyan are rich in sulphur and contain minerals that soothe and rejuvenate your skin. Regular treatments can tighten up the skin, erase wrinkles and its said to be that the mud baths in Dalyan will make you look younger by 10 years! After having a mud bath in these pools, you wait for some time until the mud is dried down and now it’s time to clean off the mud pack at the hot springs. There are showers facilities near the mud baths, toilets and a cafeteria.
Iztuzu Beach; We take a swimming break for about 50 minutes at this beach. Because of the end of the Dalyan channel, which connects the Köyceğız Lake to the Mediterranean and parallel to the Mediterranean drags on, is 5km long sand beach Iztuzu and ranks among the most beautiful beaches of the world. With it fine sand beach and Mediterranean Sea fascinates the it visitors. The beach is strongly by becoming extinct threatened one of the most important nest Workstation for the Caretta sea turtles is there for the guests enter to the beach between 08.00 and 20.00 o’ clock.
After swimming at the beach, we get back into our small boat and head towards our big boat. We arrive in Marmaris approximately two and a half hours later, around 19:30.

Was really good at turtle beach. The beach is great. The thermal and mud baths are good but the boat was full of flies! Owner of boat was rude and would not sort it! The dog on boat was covered in flies and it was all over the inclusive food omg! W had to throw it out even the food be bought on way back was just black with flies! Health and safety risk and would not go again with them. The owner was rude as well when we asked what was going on with our transport back??? I am disabled and they made us walk a good while to the taxi rank in the city! Was not good and they don’t care at all! Never going again with this lot so take another tour boat ppl!!!

Half a day was wasted in the boat when we could have gone to the 1st stop (turtle beach) in 2hrs. The boat staff took this time to encourage people to spend money to buy drinks and food. The free lunch included was cold and disgusting-the salad was not fresh and had no dressing and the main meal was a cold chicken fillet which was not cooked properly, 3 pieces of chicken nuggets, rice and a piece of bread. Most of the people in the boat hardly ate their food or just tasted it. When we got to the mud baths, we were just given about 30mins and rushed to get back to the boat whereas we could’ve stayed longer if only we did’nt spend half the day being inside the boat! Sad to say it was the worst tour I’ve been on in Marmaris. I’ve been to other tours and they were much better. My family who was with me calls this the eating tour as most of the time was spent in the boat spending money to buy food and drinks.
Hello, Thank you for your comments and warnings. We have two types of dalyan tours, by bus by land and by boat by sea. Some of our guests prefer the one by boat, to see Dalyan and also to go by boat from the sea. We will take your warning about onboard food and drink seriously and provide any necessary corrections.
