Boat Tour La Maddalena Archipelago from Palau

The water on this tour is gorgeous and the swimming was a highlight. It was well organised. There were a lot of people on the trip. Fewer would have been better. But Sardinia is so beautiful that it would be hard not to enjoy it

It is an interesting experience to get to know the islands of the La Magdalena archipelago, but the boat has too many tourists and when we arrive at the beaches, the experience is lost with so many people. The first stop on Santa Maria island was very worth it, the landscape, the last one we didn't anchor at, but we can dive and see many fish, that was also worth it. Otherwise, we didn't find it very interesting. I recommend bringing food, because on board there was only one pasta with tomato sauce and a caprese salad that ran out. Service, staff, drinks, and boat quality were very good

Overall, the activity was well organized and the time allotted for each stop was adequate. However, the crew's attitude unfortunately greatly affected the experience. Most of the team members were unfriendly, even sometimes bordering on rude, which detracted from the general atmosphere. The only person who stood out positively was the lady responsible for the explanations in French, who was very welcoming, jovial, and pleasant. Unfortunately, despite the quality of the organization, I would not recommend this experience to other people due to the crew's lack of courtesy.

I am giving one star because there is no zero! You get on a large boat and they leave you with thousands of other people on beaches where there is nothing. Then, in a very short time, you have to leave again. No explanation is given about what you see, nothing is included. A classic tourist trap. Furthermore, the day we did it, Cala Coticcio was canceled due to wind, even though it was known from the morning that it would be a bad day with a lot of wind and no sun. Never had a worse experience

The boat was packed and cramped. We didn’t know we weren’t going to Visit Magdalena the main island and there was one toilet for the whole boat. No safety measures either

The kids enjoyed the jumping off the boat bit. I enjoyed seeing La Maddalena but we were only there for one hour. In hindsight I’d probably just catch a ferry straight there or take our hire car over on the ferry and explore at our own pace, but we still enjoyed it. The food was good on board and we got great seats up the top with the table which was helpful as we got there early.

Punctual, kind staff but I do not recommend it, too touristy of a trip, you cannot enjoy the wonderful places visited

Very well organized. The crew was friendly and enjoyed their job. You could choose a dish at noon or eat the food you brought with you. There is no bistro or similar on the islands. The prices on board were, in my view, completely fine. There was also sufficient shade up on deck. We were very satisfied. You shouldn't kid yourself, of course, that you are alone on the islands. Quite a few boats do head out there ;-)

Fantastic experience, beautiful places. Cala Coticcio is also beautiful, too bad we saw it from very far away. With the girls, it was also nice to have the chance to dive off the boat and swim in the blue and turquoise sea.

Wonderful weather with little wind and bright sunshine accompanied us on the boat tour. The excursion destinations (beaches) are popular and are visited by several providers. Overall, the crowds were limited despite it being the weekend and private excursions. We were still always able to find a spot on the beach, and in the sea for swimming as well. Anyone expecting to find an empty dream beach will unfortunately be disappointed here. The time for swimming at the beach or swimming directly from the boat was, in my view, sufficient. A tip: Early check-in and boarding secures the best seats. The seats once chosen are to be kept for the entire tour. We sat on the upper deck right on the port side and thus had a wonderful view during the trip.
