After being picked up, start your day with a visit to the stunning Morro de Areia nature reserve. This area is famous for its magical sand dunes that stretch down to the sea, creating a unique, surreal and captivating natural spectacle.
Next, head to the Varandinha Cave, a must-see for its breathtaking landscapes and photo opportunities. These limestone caves, sculpted by the relentless forces of sea erosion, reveal a mesmerizing array of textures and shapes.
Continue to Santa Mónica beach, considered the most beautiful beach of the archipelago and one of the most stunning beaches in the world, whether permitting, swim in the turquoise waters and relax on the white sand.
Visit the Viana Desert, one of the seven wonders of Cabo Verde, where the landscape feels almost unreal. The rolling sand dunes, with their changing shapes and golden colors, create a stunning and magical beauty that captures the imagination.
Take a break for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant in Sal Rei
Next, drive to the Cabo de Santa Maria Shipwreck. Hear of how this old boat has been stranded for 50 years and became a symbol of inspiration for local painters and photographers.

Pick-up will take place at the main entrance outside the hotel. Not at reception as it can be crowded.

Great day out! Cliff greeted us with a warm smile and was very informative about the day ahead. He was a skilled driver on the dunes and made it so much fun for my young girls and us!! The stops along the island are breathtaking and other worldly at times - just pristine and untouched - long may it remain like this!
What a fantastic day out! Laurie was so friendly, informative, and always ensured we had lots of fun! It was a chilled, stress free, “hakuna matata” vibe (as Laurie kept telling us) giving us plenty of opportunities to take our time. Claytons driving was excellent, especially on the sand dunes! Every stop was breathtaking. Santa Monica beach was one of the highlights, we were the only ones there!! As I read on previous reviews, yes the journey is very bumpy however that is for a reason, these places are untouched and just the way it should be. Dont stay in your all inclusive resorts, get out and see Boa Vista!!
A week spent in boa vista, the dream!! NO STRESS!!! is their motto, people are so kind and warm!!

Absolutely loved our experience, our guide Laurie was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Our driver Claudino made our ride trough rough terrain comfortable and safe. We are amazed by the beauty of the cape verden nature and its people. 10/10
Great tour visiting all the main spots in the island in a 4WD toyota. However the guides looked very bored and in a rush to bring us back.
Jane and Clayton picked us up from our hotel reception with warm welcoming smiles and we set off for what was a most enjoyable day. We loved every part of the tour, spotting turtles diving down to the rocks to eat, driving through sand dunes, swimming in the sea on a beautiful white sandy deserted beach, sampling local Grog, seeing a ship wreck. Great story telling, excellent local and historical knowledge. They kept us a step ahead of the other tours which was fab, but never feeling rushed. I would highly recommend booking this tour, we had a really special day. Thank you 🤩
We stayed for a week on Boa Vista on vacation and wanted to experience the few available sights relatively compact. This tour offers just THAT: Start at 9am with pick up at the hotel, small group of only 5 people, then 5 or 6 highlights departed, then shared dinner and drive home to the hotels again. Our driver and guide made the experience special. As a local, he was able to tell something at all stations, took great photos of us and gave further tips. Highly recommended!:-)
Lory was the best guide! Mano was the best driver. These two were such sweethearts and full of knowledge about the island. Honestly in all of my travels I have never seen such unspoiled, vast, beautiful beaches - truely breathtaking and SUCH a good way to see Boa Vista.
