Blue Apple Beach Day: Sun, Music & Adventure from Cartagena

Perfect selection for an intimate tropical getaway. Food is delicious!!!! The amenities and included elements to the reservation are fantastic , and you get access to the whole property with plenty of great views. Also! The boat ride back to shore is not as bad as other options in Rosario islands

The whole experience was great but I would look into booking directly with the resort. I am not sure all of the items added up is more than what this ticket is and its not like you really got anything extra. I upgraded the massage which is very much worth it. You also can't go swimming in the ocean because it is so rocky which is definitely a bummer. I wish I knew before choosing this beach club. It is also chill vibes on the weekdays/ family friendly so be prepared for that as well.

Cute modern resort located on the quiet southwest side of Bombas Island which is visible from Cartegena. Several seating options available. Poolside lounges are more sunny and close to music. Can get rowdy if a tour boat shows up in the afternoon. Garden lounges are closer to beach under palm trees and more quiet. Beachside huts are closest to beach but exposed to wandering vendors. Beach is small and no other tourists around. Ocean is warm and clear. Food was surprisingly good. Staff are super friendly. Pool is large and gorgeous. Not the cheapest day trip well worth the money.

This was the worst and most overpriced experience I have had in Cartagena. The service does not match the cost. Communication with the operator was inconsistent from the start. We were told pickup was at 9:15am, but the driver arrived early with no notice and rushed us out. After being dropped at the marina, we waited another 1 hour and 15 minutes before the boat finally departed. When we arrived at the island, no one greeted us, and staff responses were slow, sometimes taking over an hour. The “beach” is basically nonexistent: rocky, no sand, and poorly maintained both onshore and in the water. Overall, the experience was disappointing and not worth the time or money.

Lunch was great. First menu we’ve seen in Cartagena that had an abundance of vegetables and they weren’t all covered in oil either. Service was lied back but just enough to ensure if you needed something you got it.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Blue Apple Beach Resort! From the very beginning, communication was excellent—I was kept informed about exactly what to expect, which made everything seamless. Our concierge, Antonio, was fantastic. He made wonderful recommendations for both food and drinks that truly enhanced our experience. I also had a massage with Maria, who was incredible—I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. One of the highlights was meeting the owner, Portia, who was so warm and welcoming. It made the experience feel even more special. We also met a great group of friends during our visit, which added to the memorable atmosphere. Pick-up was punctual, and the boat ride to the island set the tone for an exciting getaway. The property itself is absolutely beautiful—Blue Apple Beach Club is a must-visit when you’re in Cartagena. Highly recommend!

Great experience with delicious food choices!! The chef made the experience fun and inclusive of all the participants!! Everyone got to help prepare the meal!

Transfer from hotel then boat ride to island, upgraded for a fee from beach chairs to a bed to get pool access.

Really narrow beach with rocks on the sides. Do not go there if you are looking for Caribbean quality beach. Food and service is good, but you do not meet to take boat there for it. You can find the same quality or better food and service in land Cartagena.
