Birdwatching Cruise in Zambezi River with Breakfast

A very positive and professional experience. The company was responsive and prompt and picked me up at my hotel, which was not on their initial list. I ended up being the only one signed up for the day and had a private cruise. Breakfast had a good selection of food and drink and the river was calm and peaceful. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable. We saw birds and other wildlife. I fully recommend.

An early morning start for this cruise along the Zambezi in a replica of David Livingstone's boat, with mist over the river, the Victoria Falls spray visible downstream. A continental breakfast with tea and coffee is laid out for you by the guide, who has a huge knowledge of all the birds that habiate the area and knows where to go to find them. At the same time we also saw elephant, hippos, monitor lizards, baboons and crocodiles as well. All this in a beautiful setting, with virtually no other boats about. A blanket and hot water bottle are also provided as it is quite cold on winter mornings. Finally a bottle of sparkling wine and orange juice was available too, (though we forgot to have it).

I enjoyed the slower pace and less bumpy ride of this cruise. It felt very relaxed, but we did see lots of birds and some other wildlife, eg hippos, a bush buck and crocodile. For breakfast there was something for everyone and when finished the plates and glasses were promptly cleared away. The captain was very accommodating in making sure everybody saw the birds he found.

A lovely early morning on the Zambezi. We had plenty f time t take pictures as we moved slowly along looking for birds and other wildlife. The cruise is advertised as a 6.30 start, but we found out the night before, that he pick up would be 5.40.

Absolutely brilliant. A fabulous guide, in time and friendly pick up and return, a wonderful breakfast and so many birds. Sunset cruises are one thing but I would recommend everyone do a sunrise trip. As well as birds we saw crocodile, hippos, elephant, bush buck, water monitors and vervet monkeys. All so beautiful and I would do it again in a hurry. Thank you so much for looking after this birding lady so very well.

Fabulous early morning trip, watched the sun rise. Ndado very knowledgeable about birds and other flora and fauna. V close to birds for excellent views and pleasant breakfast. Back to the hotel before 9. Although the booking form only offers 5 hotels for pick up after booking the hotel rang the operator and arranged pick up from our hotel at the same price. Highly recommend

Great Service from pickup to return. Our guide (captain) has told a lot about the waterfalls and wildlife. The sunrise was fantastic. Breakfast was good and adequate, I can only recommend the tour.

We had a lovely time! Breakfast was good (I wasn’t expecting mimosas) and the birds watching was pretty good plus crocs and hippos. We got to see an African fin foot so that was definitely the highlight

I was the only client in this early morning birding cruise and can thoroughly recommend it. The captain was so knowledgeable, and also has amazing spotting ability. Tasty breakfast too!
