Famous for its cute architecture and lovely atmosphere.
Haga is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Gothenburg. The pedestrian street Haga Nygata is lined with well-preserved houses, many in the characteristic Gothenburg style called "landshövdingehus" with one floor in brick and the rest in wood. Today they house plenty of independent shops and cafés.
Linnéstaden, commonly known as Linné, is a laid-back neighourhood with plenty of local charm. By day a tempting mix of independent shops and cafés and by night a bustling borough with eateries and bars.
Second Long Street) is a street in Gothenburg, Sweden. It starts west of Haga at Järntorget and ends at Masthuggstorget. The street is renowned for its many restaurants, bars, galleries and record shops. Although the street has a dodgy past its reputation has now been redeemed. It is now a "magnet for creative types" according to Lonely planet. The tourists have yet to find this street but alternative Gothenburgians love the street for its "authenticity". It doesn't house any major commercial corporations such as Mcdonald's or H&M but more smaller venues.

Great experience Highly recommend this tour Nils was very entertaining
Such a well spent afternoon. Nils was so entertaining and a great storyteller. We covered much more ground than you would just walking- all with Nils’ music soundtrack playing as we went. Everywhere Nils and ‘his ducklings’ passed made onlookers smile and wave. Brilliant bike tour on an e-bike which made it even better. I’m still laughing!
We joined this tour on a last minute notion. We didn't didn't know what to expect and were both a bit tired , wondering if we had made the right decision having only one day left in Gothenburg. It was just brilliant Nils is a brilliant tour guide, witty, knowledgeable, friendly, a real character He obviously loves doing this. It's the best experience of the many great memories we've made here. Thanks Cormac
We thoroughly enjoyed our city bike tour with Nils and would highly recommend this activity to all. Nils is very knowledgeable and made the tour fun with his Swedish humour. People walking in the city were delighted to see Nils riding his penny farthing bike (and us, his ducklings, following behind). We felt very safe and looked after by Nils. At the end of the tour, he even gave us a great cafe recommendation for coffee - perfect!
Neals was fantastic....one of the best general city tours we have ever had! Bikes were great and his Penny-Farthing was a show stopper! Everyone we passed waved at us and took pictures. We covered so much ground and saw soooo much Learning all about Gothenburg. Neals was so informative. A very easy ride.
This bike tour through Goteborg was absolutely wonderful! It was a fantastic way to see the city and learn about its history. Our tour guide Nils was sweet, funny and a great storyteller. I loved all the fun facts and seeing the sites in this unique way!
Fantastic tour and a unique, enjoyable way to experience the city. Nils was informative, accommodating, interesting, and often very funny. Highly recommended!
We booked a bike tour with Nils during a family history trip, and it was a highlight of our visit! If you’re coming to Gothenburg, I highly recommend doing this on your first day in town—Nils shares so many incredible recommendations and context that you'll want time to follow up on afterward! Nils was quick and easy to communicate with before the tour. When we arrived, he was incredibly welcoming and got everyone fitted with helmets, baskets, and even e-bike options! I felt completely secure the entire time. The route was mostly flat, dedicated bike paths, with just a few city street sections and one hill. Nils kept us together using clear hand signals (including a very memorable "ducklings" signal for single-file riding!). He even handled a brief distraction from a passerby with total grace, efficiency, and good humor. Nils is funny, engaging, and kicked us off with some excellent fish-based humor! Rather than just dropping isolated facts, he linked each stop together so we left with a genuine understanding of the city's history and layout. Plus, his beautiful, ultra-cool bike—and watching the smiles it brought to everyone around as our group passed by—made the whole experience feel so cheerful and special. This tour was insightful, comfortable, and an absolute delight from start to finish. I can't recommend Nils and his tour enough!
Thank you so much for this incredibly heartwarming review! ❤️ It honestly means a lot to hear that the tour became such a special part of your family history trip. I’m so happy you felt safe, enjoyed the stories, the little jokes, and of course the beautiful bike! It was an absolute pleasure having you all along, and I truly hope you have many more adventures together. Thank you for choosing my tour and for sharing such kind words! 🚲❤️
Nils is the best! He is the most famous unknown person in Göteborg with his super nice bike. At every stop he explains about the city and its history in a nice en funny way. A real story teller. The music that accompanied us during the tour makes the whole experience even more scenic. Also good quality bikes :)
Nice way to discover the city!
