The road leading to the farm was very difficult to navigate and made the trip to the parking lot a bit uncomfortable. Recommendation : pave the road or have someone bring you to the parking lot with a car made for that type or terrain. But in all a great experience!!!
Rachel and her partner did great! Its my first time riding an ATV and they are really supportive and encouraging. Highly recommended! Aside from the thrilling ride they also give valuable tour of the ranch including Hawaiian history and traditions.
It was the first time my daughter was old enough to ride an atv by herself. At first she struggled, but they put her up at the front and coached her through the first leg of the trip in first gear. By the end she was speeding along like a pro. It was such an awesome time using the atvs, learning about the culture, some of the plants, and even tasting some of the guavas and the native berries that they grow there. You could tell that our guides were genuine, really cared about the land, and made sure everyone that was on the ride was comfortable. It was the highlight of of our trip and I would highly reccommend taking a trip to Ohana Ranch. Just make sure you use their boots, you will get muddy.
Just loved the authenticity of the guide! He gave us a great tour as well as the history of the traditions
Pono and bishop were amazing tour guides, we learned a ton about the island and how things were traditionally done. They were very funny and entertaining while telling us the history. If you have the chance I would definitely recommend going!
It was good for the price. I would have liked to have seen more but in 1 hour 20 minutes there is just not enough time. The two guides were friendly and sociable.
So much fun! Camlanai and kal were a blast to be around. Fun time to get off the beach for a minute and see the mountains
Bring a change of clothes, shoes, towel just in case! We had an absolute blast! Long rides, loved the cultural info and timing all around. Pono and Bishop are elite brah
The best ATV riding experience ever! From the educational information we received during the tour to riding through the mud and rain! You don’t want to miss this!!!
We were staying in Mountain View so it was an easy 15min drive to the ranch. Received a courtesy call to confirm attendance. Easy check in at the site, bathroom available prior to trip starting. Helmets are mandatory and provided, boots are also available for free so no real need to buy shoes prior. Dress comfortably, I wore tee shirt, pants (with zip off legs, which I did after the ride as they were soaking from the rain) and the provided boots. Took a while to get going due to organizing everyone. There were families, couples, singles and a well delivered safety talk before starting the ATV's. The first leg is on a REALLY uneven surface so its 1st gear all the way. We stopped at a traditional Polynesian garden where crops are growing. After that it was 2nd gear and much easier ATV style driving. Deep water pools, mud, twists and turns. We saw the local herd of cows, wild pigs and the 'pet pig' who conveniently met us at the parking lot as we left looking for some nourishment. Overall, lived up to expectations and would recommend it.
