Nice way to see a lot of the city. Lots of historic and current information, the guide was very knowledgeable. One small note though, I think the company need to get some smaller bikes, I was given the smallest and it was still too big, and I'm 5'2.

Absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide, Jutta (?)/yellow rubber boots, was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable and could cover the geographical, historical, political, and human scenarios through Vienna's history! WOW! We achieved an incredible amount in a little (over) 3 hours. Regards. Lotte from Denmark
Positive experience How expensive No toilet visit possible Large group
Very good guide. History told with high credibility and integrity. Think you.
Wife and I did a tour this week. Anita the guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The tour takes you past loads of incredible buildings and the roads are very navigable, with mostly on cycle paths. Bikes are in good condition and are light so no issues with the odd incline. I felt there could have been improvement in the taking care of those on the tour which is why this is 4 not 5. The process was turn up, given a bike and get on with it. There was no checking that the bike was ok, no offer of a helmet (coming from the UK where everyone is expected to wear one), and at points on the tour the guide would overtake another road user like a bus or a horse drawn carriage without waiting for a space big enough for the group (which was only small). No explanation of what to do at crossings, the guide would sometimes ride through when pedestrians waiting to cross, but then the group would be left behind when they did cross. The bike was different to all others I’ve used before both at home and on other bike tours in terms of how the pedal was also a brake, this wasn’t explained. Only minor things, but think it would show a better care for the customers.
Found the group too big, not easily understandable, and the stopping points inconvenient. Very experienced guide but we think too much info for this tour according to us
The bike tour was very informative; many important stops were visited, and the information about them was always very interesting. The guide had a great deal of knowledge, even off the "mainstream" path, and always had an answer to questions. Unfortunately, we had prepared for 2.5 hours, but the duration was advertised as 3 hours—our fault. However, the tour then lasted almost 4 hours, which was clearly too long for us, so we deducted one star. We were very satisfied with the content.
Anita was a pleasant person; with great dedication, she introduced us to a multitude of historical buildings and important figures of Viennese history. The group size (16 people) could have been a bit smaller so that you wouldn't get lost when the traffic lights changed.... Overall, the tour was rather historically oriented. Personally, I would have liked to learn a bit more about today's Vienna / the country and its people, but overall a great first impression. Many thanks to our dedicated Anita!
Pros: - Bicycle was of great quality - Staff's behaviour was top notch - Our guide was very friendly and likeable. She was also more than willing to answer any questions. However, we felt the tour fell short on 2 counts - The narrative about the city and it's history lacked depth. Also the narrative didn't cover any broad-brush background of the city/Austria's culture and was more focussed on individual figures. - Although our guide was very amiable, unfortunately her volume was barely audible.
Loved this Vienna tour. Karen was a wealth of historical facts/stories and we just loved her tour (opera singing included). One suggestion is I would ask for a bike with the rear brake on the handle - the pedal backwards for the rear brake took some getting used to and I am an avid biker. Otherwise highly recommend this tour!
