Description
This is one of the most unique tours in NYC. With over 5,000 years of civilization from around the globe represented in one of the world's great museums, a guided tour to ensure the "must-sees" is a necessity! This tour navigates masterpieces of civilization from around the world with a particular focus of the art and artifacts from the Biblical Age. We'll be transported to the tombs of ancient Egypt and visit stories of Genesis and Exodus, admire art of the Byzantine and Medieval world bringing stories of Israelite kings like David and Solomon to life, and we'll visit Roman Judea to examine artifacts of Jerusalem's Temple and the world of Jesus. Of course, the personality of your tour guide will determine will bring the art the life!

Jonathan was so knowledgeable not only about biblical historical aspects of the MET but the MET altogether! During our guide multiple individuals came up to ask him information as he was so knowledgeable and I could tell many wanted to join our private tour! Would definitely recommend especially in the future when more exhibits are available to see at the museum.

THE MET can be a bit visually overwhelming when you enter, as its such a big place 🤩 What was really awesome is that not only did Jonathan text me a picture of himself at the meet up point 👌🏽, but he was also there to greet us as soon as we entered the museum & even arranged to get us a wheelchair so that my elderly father could fully enjoy the tour. As we walked along, Jonathan did such an amazing job at connecting some of the artifacts we were seeing in the displays to stories in the Bible that those times correspond to. Really cool to see some visual references connecting to some of my favorite biblical stories 🙏🏽 I would highly recommend this guided tour w/ Jonathan, as Me & My father enjoyed every minute of our journey walking through the Met with Jonathan, we were learning so much but also able to admire/enjoy the beauty of The Met ❤️ I’m very glad I found this tour, it made our visit to The Met that much more special…10/10

I enjoyed the tour very much. My 9 y. old son liked it a lot, was able to participate and ask questions. It was very informative and interesting.
