Our tour guide Ravi was amazing and made this tour an unforgettable experience! He was very knowledgeable of the county, very flexible on the itinerary - there were some excursions we didn’t want to do, and other things we wanted to see and it was not a problem for him. He advised local restaurants, and made us feel really comfortable throughout. The tour itself was wonderful, and in 6 days we managed to see a vast amount but absolutely should have stayed longer, but we will be back! The company we booked with arranged the hotels - most of them were wonderful. Food was always amazing. We loved our holiday and will absolutely return to Sri Lanka!

Nishantha Kumara our guide and unofficial ambassador of Sri Lanka was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and genuinely passionate about Sri Lanka. His insights into the country’s history, culture, wildlife and traditions brought each destination to life and his pride in sharing his homeland was evident every day. Along our journey we witnessed a man respected by all and he always seemed to find the best place to park, take a photo, observe an incredible view and eat. Ten days, two happy travellers, one absolutely outstanding driver and guide. If you’re planning a trip to Sri Lanka, stop searching — Chanuka is your man. We covered an amazing amount of ground together: Colombo, the sacred ruins of Anuradhapura, the Dambulla Cave Temples, the mighty Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a thrilling Jeep Safari, the cultural gem of Kandy with its Temple of the Tooth, a Tea Factory near Nuwara Eliya, the legendary scenic train ride to Ella, and finally the beautiful coastal city of Galle. Every stop was perfectly organised, stress-free, and memorable.. special thanks to Maleesha for the perfectly planned itinerary that made everything flow so smoothly. What makes Chanuka truly special? Where do we start. His knowledge of Sri Lanka’s history, culture, and wildlife is extraordinary. His English is excellent, making every conversation and explanation a pleasure. He is punctual and reliable to the dot. every single morning, without exception. His local food recommendations led us to the most authentic and delicious meals of the trip. And his driving was smooth, safe, and confident throughout. But perhaps our favourite surprise? Chanuka is an incredible photographer. The photos he took of us across the entire trip are absolutely sensational - pure treasures we will look at forever. Oh, and did we mention he is hilarious? Ten days in a car together and we laughed the whole way through. That says it all. Sri Lanka is magical - Chanuka made it unforgettable. Book him. Trust us.

We had a great experience with BH Lanka touring the south of Sri Lanka over 9 days. Our trip was customized somewhat, and what we experienced was indeed exactly as promised with the quoted iterary. Having a private tour guide allowed us to adapt the trip on certain days, which was great. Excellent service and safe driving from tour guide/chauffeur Suranga, thank you!

Sri Lanka was shown to us in amazing detail by our guide Suranga. He shared spectacular views mixed with historical facts and interesting activities. We had comfortable travel accommodations and were taken to the best views in the country. We highly recommend this tour.

From the beginning to the end of our tour, our guide Sasika looked after us so well. He always arrived on time and never complained if we were late! We felt so safe as he negotiated the Sri Lankan roads! Relaxed enough to fall asleep between destinations! He was flexible If we wanted to change the itinerary, we were lucky enough to be in kandy when England were playing Pakistan and he helped us to book the tickets and took us there and back. He was professional kind and attentive and picked up on our needs, even finding the right shop for items I needed, although, I did have to give up on finding diet coke!

Our tour was everything we thought it would be. BH Lanka is a well organised company who helped us to fine tune our trip based on their own recommended itinerary. We certainly packed a lot into the time available whilst enjoying a rather more relaxed last couple of days. Our driver was very personable and had impressive knowledge about his home country and its history. He certainly knew his way around, where to find available parking and where to stop for comfort breaks. He was skilled at driving the Sri Lankan roads though we did feel that at times he could be a little more cautious. As reasonably fit Seniors, we would advise anybody planning a tour to investigate the sites included before booking. In particular, the climb up Sigirya rock is very challenging - as is the descent. We made it to half way! To a lesser degree the climb up to the Dambulla Cave Temple also taxes the limbs and lungs. If you go, take an extra pair of socks as shoes must be removed prior to entry. None of this really impaired our five star experience- thank you BH Lanka.

It was a very good experience for the last 9 days. We had wonderful time we spend in Srilanka. Tour guide, Anuradha was very helpful all our time in Srilanka. Elephants ride and boat ride was the best time of this trip.

We had a fabulous time with Ravi our amazing tour guide. We felt safe and comfortable and relaxed the entire time as Ravi had all our logistics sorted. He was very professional and kind and catered to anything we asked for. Overall Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and we would love to return.

The tour was a wonderful experience and a good mix of culture, nature and wild life in Yala national park. Good choice of hotels with one exception in Ella. We didn't like much the O2 Ella. The best part of the tour was our guide and driver Janaka. With him we always felt safe and well. He has a good knowledge of history and Sri Lanka culture and traditions. He gave us all kind of interesting facts and information. He was very polite and courteous. Thank you very much for this great tour.
