We have visited Lisbon several times over the last 35 years and this is the first time we booked a tour. It was well worth it. One misses out a lot by wandering around a city, which used to be our previous preferred option. Chiara was very knowledgeable and an excellent and entertaining raconteur. She seemed to enjoy imparting her knowledge. The tour was nicely structured from early days to more recent times. The pace was just perfect. Thank you.
Kate was knowledgeable, with wide ranging conversation and insightful information about Lisbon and Portuguese history. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend her. She was able to give us historic information whilst also keeping the tour fun and upbeat with coffee stops and restaurant recommendations thrown in.
Spent a very enjoyable 3 hours with Shira learning about Lisbon this morning. We really enjoyed her spin on Lisbon’s history expertly co-ordinated with the sights. Starting at 9am helped avoid the crowds and heat of the day.
Tiago our guide was great. Very knowledge made the tour really fun and showed us some of the short cuts to save us on some of the hills. In addition he had great recommendations for places to eat
Wonderful way to learn about the city and its history. It was fun to see the city from the castle to the river level.
We had Keliber as our guide for the 3hr private walking tour. He was very knowledgable and personable. He also gave lots of great tips for places to eat and visit for the rest of our trip. Love the tour!
The guide, Shiri, was friendly and very knowledgeable. She had shortcuts to avoid steep climbs and suggestions for other activities in Lisbon. We felt comfortable with her and she was very helpful in answering questions.
Today my husband and I enjoyed a thoroughly fascinating historical walking tour with Kateryna (Kate) of the Baixa and Chiado areas. Kateryna is friendly and passionate about Lisbon and very knowledgeable of the history of the area and history in general. She was very engaging and gave us extra tips of places to see and eat and sent links of other recommendations. This “Best of Lisbon” tour is an excellent way to start a visit to Lisbon. I can highly recommend Kateryna as a guide. Don't forget to give her a good tip.
