As you walk into the Cathedral Quarter your guide will introduce you to the remarkable history and stories of the United Irishmen and their contributions to our city's development.

You will also hear the legend behind the stunning public sculpture 'the Salmon of Knowledge' and visit our favourite piece of art, the Beacon of Hope, which symbolises the resilience and regeneration of Belfast in recent years.
The Albert Memorial Clock is Belfast's very own 'leaning tower'. At this historic spot you will discover the reason for the angle and also learn how Belfast got it's name. And we'll show you our most famous footballer's favourite pub!
The Belfast Entries are at the heart of the oldest part of the city. Today they have been turned into an amazing outdoor art gallery. Here you will get to explore dozens of pieces of art each with its own story to tell, while hearing about the importance of this area and the people who lived here over the centuries.
In the pedestrian precinct at the heart of the city you will discover the meaning behind some of the quirkiest public art in Belfast, together with its alternative name and the centuries-old stories of the historic buildings surrounding it.

Colin was an excellent guide. He really knows the city and history. He was a great communicator with a sense of humor. There’s nothing like walking through a new city with a guide who can give you great insights, stories and history. Thank you Colin!
Great walk through the city centre with guide Rory. Very well paced and Rory knew his stuff really well and we covered a diverse range of history and related topics. Would strongly recommend Rory and DC Tours.
Awesome guide! So informative and enjoyable! Highly recommend!
Colin was very knowledgeable, spoke well, and was concerned for our safety whilst walking the streets. Our 1.5 hour tour was changed to a 3 hour tour. A good but tiring time.
Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, and we’re pleased you enjoyed Colin’s guiding. We’re sorry you found the length tiring, but just to clarify, we don’t offer a 1.5-hour version of this tour. The tour is always advertised as lasting 2.5–3 hours, including a coffee and comfort break, so there was no change to the scheduled duration on the day. Best wishes, DC Tours
Did the Belfast Mile tour as part of a teambuilding day with. Colin the tour guide was superb, very knowledgeable about a city I have lived in for over 50 years, and know so little about when you hear his stories. Nice stop off for coffee at the Crescent Arts Centre. Highly recommended tour, and even received a great book recommendation at No Alibis bookshop.
Hi Craig, Thanks for taking the time to leave such a great five-star review. It’s particularly good to hear that our new South Belfast tour can still surprise someone who has lived in the city for over 50 years. We’ll make sure Colin sees your comments, and many thanks for the recommendation. Best wishes, DC Tours
