Our 3 day tour from Marrakech to Fes was wonderful. Morocco Fabulous Travel were a very professional company to deal with. They communicated excellently in advance of the trip and were happy to answer any questions we had beforehand. Our guide, Said, was very experienced and knowledgeable about Morocco (and seemed to know people EVERYWHERE). The accommodation on both nights was an extremely good standard. The first night was at Hotel Babylon Dades. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the hotel had a really nice traditional look to it. My wife very much enjoyed the food. I had been unwell from something I ate in Marrakech before the tour started and the hotel very kindly prepared me something not on the menu. The second night's accommodation was equally good. Aircon and WiFi in the Sahara was most unexpected. Again the room (tent) was huge with full ensuite facilities. The trip itself does involve a lot of driving. We were fully aware of this before we started but it's important to know this in advance. I thoroughly recommend the private tour because you have a lot more flexibility about stop times. If you want to spend a bit longer in one place and less in another, or have extra bathroom breaks, a private tour allows for this. People avoid Morocco in August because of the extreme heat - which makes perfect sense - but the vehicle is air conditioned and the definite upside is that everywhere we went, there were very few - if any - other tourists. I'd never camped in the Sahara before and, as we came to the other side of the sand dunes on the camel ride, I was astonished to see tourist camps as far as the eye could see in both directions. Our camp could hold about 40 people but on the night we stayed, my wife were 2 of only 6 guests. And, as far as we could tell, there was only one other camp in operation. Our guide said that in peak season, all the camps get full. This must be great for the people running them, but not so calming as a guest. We got up for the sunrise the next day, as recommended by everyone. It was good but we had a cloudy morning so I'm sure it'd be even better with a clear sky. Our camel ride actually took around 2 hours. We came through a bit of a sandstorm with heavy winds and some light rain so maybe they took a longer route. (This weather was a positive for us because it made the temperature much cooler). The camels all seemed very healthy and well cared for. One of the best stops for us was Irfane - the little Switzerland of Morocco - but all the sites were great. The scenery between stops can be a bit "samey" i.e. long periods of barren landscape. I still enjoyed all of it, although my wife did quite a lot of napping in those sections. The food everywhere was plentiful - if not too plentiful - and very tasty. It was all Moroccan cuisine. All in all, an excellent trip and great value Would definitely recommend
Said Azroual ( Happy ) We had a great experience. drive Said Zeroual he was so good and safety and fantastic. Also, he had a lot of knowledge concering about each spots. So we cloud learn about Morocco and had fun!!
My girlfriends and I booked a private 4 Days/3 Nights Tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga and back directly with Morocco Fabulous Travel and the booking process was super simple. Our tour guide, Youssef Zrwal, was communicative, and flexible when picking up/dropping us off from our hotels. He is so knowledgable, and excited to share a lot of information about the sites we were visiting. He was tentative like an older brother. We felt safe, and cared for the entire tour. He's also a great photographer who took beautiful photo of us. I definitely recommend booking with Morocco Fabulous Travel and if you're lucky, with Youssef Z as your tour guide.
Our group of 6 was picked up from our Riad by a spacious and air-conditioned people carrier. Our guide, Omar, went above and beyond to provide a comfortable, informative, and engaging experience. Omar had an incredible knowledge of the area, and took us to excellent stops over the three days. Night one was spent in a luxurious desert camp and night two was spent in a beautiful hotel located in the picturesque Dades valley. Incredible value for money and unbelievable service. 100% recommend.
While there are so many tour companies and some of them are bad, I chose this one after comparing reviews on Google Maps, TripAdvisor, etc. for about 15 companies. The good thing is, ・The fact that I never stopped at any of the restaurants with bad boggy lunches or souvenir shops (carpets, etc.) that tour companies work with for brokerage fees, which is common. If someone in the group told them that they wanted to go to a store where they could buy something like this, they would stop by, but they were never forced to buy anything or felt awkward without buying something (sometimes people who were not interested remained in the car). · Zaid, the driver and guide, was just knowledgeable, English was fine and kind. While most of the tour participants spent the next day in Fez, they were perfectly gracious (at no extra charge, etc.) in taking people who wanted to go to Tanneries in Fez the day after the tour, and when the Tanneries workshop insisted on tipping them, they refused on everyone's behalf. During the tour, he said that tips should only be given to services that he was really satisfied with, and he never asked for his own tips at the end of the tour (he was kind enough to give them more at Fez). He was also a very good guide who was charming and would answer any questions he asked. They were quick to respond to requests to buy water, go to the toilet, stop by an ATM, etc. The driving speed was a bit of a skip… lol. ・As stated, the number of participants was small (seven when we went) and flexible. · The car is clean and the air conditioning works well. · Although it is expensive compared to other extremely cheap tour companies, the quality of the difference was guaranteed from start to finish, including accommodations on the tour and the above guides. · The tour company as a whole has a clear community and responds quickly to emails etc. ・At Fez, you can drop us off at the nearest car stop.
This was the second highlight of our trip to Morocco—the hot-air balloon ride was the other one! The tour was excellent, with a relaxed pace and plenty of interesting sights along the way. Our driver, Hassan Kamana, was the best: professional, friendly, and always happy to answer our many questions with a smile and genuine interest. We saw so many fascinating places and learned a great deal about Morocco. We genuinely enjoyed the journey, despite the many kilometres of driving. The accommodation was also very comfortable, and the food was very good. Make sure to bring enough cash, as the remaining balance for the tour must be paid in cash. In general, cash is essential in Morocco, since many places do not accept card payments.
Thanks to Ibrahim for the amazing journey! Warm welcome, always responding to our questions and funny jokes! He brought us to amazing spots we would never have seen by ourselves. Thanks for everything!
We had a fantastic trip with Morocco Fabulous Tours from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert and ending in Fez. From the very beginning, Brahim was incredibly helpful. He answered all of our questions quickly on WhatsApp and gave us the best options and deals for our private tour. Dinner and breakfast were part of the tour & also gave us a stay in Dades Valley. The desert camel safari and the amazing luxury tents stay were just fantastic. The biggest blessing of our tour was our driver and guide, Mohamed. He took amazing care of us from Day 1 to Day 3. He explained so much about Moroccan history, culture, villages, and agriculture. He truly went out of his way to help us with everything we needed and was a very safe driver. We give Mohamed 5 stars for his incredible effort, knowledge, and experience. Highly recommend this tour company
This was an amazing trip we will not forget. I would 100% recommend it. Everything ran smoothly. The sites are incredible and the hospitality of our guides was awesome. We went with my 3 kids, who loved the adventure. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip and our guide, Hassan (Kamana) was great. He is cordial, fun, and patient and was happy to share with us his culture. We hope to come back soon and would certainly use this same outfit for future visits to beautiful Morocco 🇲🇦!
My partner and I joined the 3 day private tour from Marrakech to Fes and had the absolute best time with our guide/ driver Ali. The itinerary was nicely paced, and eye-opening. Ali is super friendly and helpful, the best guide you can have! Not only have we learnt useful Arabic phrases which came in handy throughout the rest of our trip, he’s helped with luggages, doors, recommended nice restaurants for us, a great photographer and also shared lots of history, culture and fun facts about his country, people and the beautiful landscape which we totally fell in love with. Despite the necessarily long drive into the desert (yet totally worth it), Ali has organised stops with interesting villages/ landscapes / interest points to see along the way, making the trip both informative and comfortable. We stayed at Hotel Babylon Dades during the first night, and enjoyed the quiet mountainous scenary from our hotel room. For the second night, we opted for Caravanserai Luxury Desert Camp, we had a sunset camel ride into the camp, had great food, camp fire night with music, starry night in the desert and beautiful sunrise. The whole trip was memorable for the two of us, so we would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
