Description
A glass bottom boat cruise is the best way to see Bermuda from above and below the water! Enjoy an informative and entertaining coastal sightseeing cruise with glass bottom viewing. The boat will go over coral reef sea gardens and the shipwreck 'HMS Vixen,' followed by a relaxing return cruise with a Cash Bar and a stop to look for sea turtles!
Tour Options
Itinerary
These glass bottom boats have large viewing areas and a particularly shallow draft, allowing you the very best reef access and up-close underwater viewing all in safe, dry comfort. Relax on the spacious upper deck and enjoy the passing seascapes as your captain relates little known facts and insights about Bermuda's marine life, history, and people.
You'll cruise to the pristine Sea Gardens surrounded by miles of the world's northernmost coral reef. Make a stop at the shipwreck of the 'Vixen,' a scuttled ship rich in history, with a back-story too hilarious to believe. Once over the reef, your knowledgeable crew will provide entertaining and factual commentary about the civilizations of coral and fish that appear beneath you. Upon departing the reef, the boat will pause at the nearby sea grass beds, where you may spot a few of the many transient turtles that take refuge in this Mid Atlantic sanctuary.

Captain and the tour guide were excellent, but we had hoped to see more fish and other sea life besides coral
The Captain Kirk glass bottom boat cruise was fun. Just enough time to be on the boat. Crew was funny and very informative about the shipwreck area.
Wonderful all around. Went on a Monday at 3:30. Only maybe 10 people on board. Really good viewing and narration.
Cool experience, including some time in the open air seeing the island, and some time inside looking through the glass bottom (and seeing plenty of fish and corals)! Guides were funny and knowledgeable, and there was enough room for everyone to see.
Unfortunately the coral in Bermuda is not very colorful, so we were a little disappointed with that. However, the boat captain, Melvin and Avery, the guide, were both excellent
Tour was 7 minutes late. Then it went well. The scenery was gorgeous under the sun. Only at a shiperck site could one see fish under and around the boat.
I had a wonderful, seamless experience. This was my first time not doing an excursion through the cruise line, and I was worried, but the experience was wonderful. The meeting place for Viator was steps from the cruise ship, and the crew and staff were professional and friendly. I will definitely be using Viator again. I am so happy that I tried it.
The tour was very informative and learned more about Bermuda even at our 6th trip to island. Saw many interesting fish and corals. Worth every penny.
The glass bottom boat tour was a lot of fun. The guides are very knowledgeable and give a great tour. They even brought bread so the kids could feed the fish....which was a big hit!!
What a rip off our taxi was late called to let them know that we were running 15 late due to taxi that we called a hour and a half early, to bad your a no show no refund and we will not wait. We are the only passengers . Called them about going later and no go. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!
