Absolutely amazing experience for lovers of Japanese culture and history. And especially for Sekiro enthusiasts. I can only recommend.

Very interesting and atmospheric; for me, shortly before my first trip to Japan, a must see! Found the detailed descriptions of the helmets and armor and the production of the katanas very exciting. For my 89-year-old father, everything was a bit too dark, and he would have appreciated some padded seating (but he is not quite part of the target audience ;-). Highly recommended for anyone interested in Japan!
Beste Grüße Ihr Team vom Samurai Museum Berlin
We really liked the museum. There is great information, quiz games, and the holograms are super.
Herzliche Grüße Ihr Team vom Samurai Museum Berlin
Excellent museum. Truly inspiring to see something like this in Europe. The displays were epic and I could honestly feel the history behind the armor and weapons on display. Overall this was a wonderful experience.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that you found the museum truly inspiring and that the armor and weapons brought the history of the samurai to life for you. It means a lot to us that you could feel the stories and craftsmanship behind the objects in our collection. Creating that sense of connection with history is exactly what we hope to achieve. We hope to welcome you back to the Samurai Museum Berlin for another journey into the world of the samurai! Warm regards, Your Samurai Museum Berlin Team
A great collection, really lovingly presented with lots of interesting information about the individual exhibits and eras. Children and teenagers get a common thread through the recurring illustration of the fox and can gain valuable new information in the quiz.
Herzliche Grüße Ihr Team vom Samurai Museum Berlin
Great museum for those interested in the old Japanese warrior caste, and whoever isn't yet will be after visiting the museum; also great praise to the staff, very friendly and helpful, price/performance absolutely TOP.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review SinChan! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed exploring the fascinating world of the samurai and even more so that our museum could inspire an even greater appreciation for Japan's legendary warrior culture. Your kind words about our team mean a great deal to us. We will be happy to share your compliments with our staff, who are passionate about making every visit a memorable experience. We hope to welcome you back to the Samurai Museum Berlin soon. There is always something new to discover!
Tickets may be more expensive on-site. The quality of the exhibition is top-notch. There are efforts to make the exhibition interesting for children through interactive elements. However, the exhibition tends to be more recommended for adults.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the quality of the exhibition and appreciated the care that has gone into presenting our collection. As a privately funded museum, we strive to create a high-quality experience with authentic historical objects, immersive media, and interactive installations. For future visitors, it's worth noting that online tickets are always less expensive than tickets purchased at the museum, with the best prices usually available when booking about a week in advance. While many families enjoy our interactive experiences—including the Ninja area, Yōkai activities, Taiko drums, and digital exhibits—our museum is indeed designed to engage visitors of all ages, with much of the historical content offering particular depth for teenagers and adults interested in Japanese history and culture. We hope you'll visit us again and take the time to discover some of the collection's unique highlights, including remarkable original Samurai armour, masterfully crafted swords, and other historically significant objects that are rarely seen outside Japan.
A really interesting museum! So many artefacts, well presented. I particularly liked the masks and papers. So many swords and helmets - battle items. Good shop. Spent 1.5 hours here. Fre was okay but on the higher end of museums we visited.
Thank you very much for the fascinating exhibits in our museum—the quality and variety of these objects are unmatched anywhere in Europe. Combined with the innovative museum design, the tea ceremony, the yokai game featuring the fox Kitsune, and the connection to pop culture (Date Masamune/Black Mamba—Uma Thurman)
It was a great experience to immerse myself again in such a fascinating culture. As a traveler to Japan, I immediately felt wanderlust again.
What an amazing place. Quite a compact museum but what they had was great for somebody into it all. It made me want to visit Japan even more. Inexpensive entry and room to see everything.
Thank you for the kind recommendation—we really appreciate it. We're putting a lot of passion into this project, so it's great to know that people are noticing.
