Sample some of the best local craft beers in Berlin from the very first and most experienced craft beer guides in Germany! Join us on this one-of-a-kind tour of Berlin and experience a new side of the city! You will be guided through small alternative neighborhood of Friedrichshain by one of our hand-picked expert guides to a series of local craft beer bars. All of our guides have a passion for craft beer as well as hands-on knowledge of brewing, so they can answer all of your questions and help you gain a deeper understanding of craft beers and brewing. During the tour, you will enjoy an artisanal pizza and beer pairing at the beginning and at least 6 (depending on the season, it can be up to 9) local craft beers at 3 unique locations. Along the way, your guide will tell you about the local history of Berlin, its politics, chemistry, history and how they all relate to craft beer. You’ll get an intimate look into this new and growing niche movement in Germany!

Friedrichshain
With a group of up to 12 other guests. You will first meet at Salami Social Club in the alternative Friedrichshain district. You will then be guided around this historic East Berlin neighborhood in the capable hands of your local guide. During the tour you will sample between 6-9 local craft beers (depending on what is available), hand-picked by your guide at three unique bars. Along the way, your guide will entertain you with the history of beer and specifically the craft beer scene in Berlin. You'll get an intimate look into this new and growing niche movement. By the end of this 3.5 - hour tour, you will have gained an appreciation for the culture of Berlin and beer as a whole.

Great afternoon of beer, conversation, and information!
Cliff was great, super knowledgeable, kind, and adapted great to one of our gluten free needs. The beers were delicious and the walk through neighborhoods and info Cliff provided about the history of Berlin and the challenges craft brewers have was next level!

This tour/experience was awesome! Not only did we try some amazing beers we learned so much about beer, Germany’s beer history, and the modern day beer culture. Cliff was a wealth of knowledge and information and had great recommendations. We would do this again on our next visit to Berlin and if you are a beer fan, we would highly recommend.

One of those experiences that instantly jumps to the top of my “best tours ever” list. If you’re a beer enthusiast this tour is pure magic. Throughout, Cliff wove in stories about local brewers, beer history, and why certain pairings worked scientifically. The pace was perfect—not rushed, with time to chat, laugh, and savor. This is a perfect example of a tour that exceeds your expectations. Cliff is a passionate guide who will teach you (more than you might think) about German beer, about microbrewery culture, and about how this culture is taking root in Germany. We had a superb time learning about the history of beer brewing both generally as well as specifically in Germany and Berlin. Great local knowledge and experience, shared in a thoughtfully curated way. Great craft beer tour in Berlin
Great authentic Berlin experience, and great beers as well. Cliff (the owner) has a wide knowledge about beers and the city's history, and everything is explained in plain English. The explanations are "alive" and are being adapted to the visitors knowledge, and he even found me beers according to my taste. Great tour, highly recommended.

A fun, relaxing, cool time with beer.
My boyfriend and I just completed a 2-week European vacation. Along the way I was looking for various activities in the cities we visited. We both love beer and as we had previously been to Berlin, had already seen the typical tourist spots. I found this tour had high ratings so we went for it. Cliff was awesome! We met at a funky pizza place and got to try unique slices (including black pudding), along with Cliff’s beer pairing. Both the pizza and beer was excellent. Cliff discussed the beer-making process along with the unique history of beer in relation to Germany. We moved on to another spot where Cliff selected beers for us based on our preferences. His choices for us were spot on! We walked/talked through some eclectic neighborhoods to our third stop where we had a flight of 3 beers and learned more about this history of beer. We ended up with a private experience which made it even better. We saw areas which I don’t think we would’ve went to or known about on our own, which made me love Berlin even more. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic journey into…..beer!
The history, the ingredients, the tricks of tasting…..the BEER!! Cliff was off the charts knowledgeable and not just about beer, he picked a winning combo with the pizza choice to start! Awesome tour and we walked away with a huge amount of info and a great memory!
