Joy Journeys always care for our client's experience. All of our tours have a small group with maximum of 10 guests visiting Cu Chi Tunnels. Our group will spend most of the time at Ben Duoc Tunnels which is well-known as the less-crowded, less-busy, and more authentic experience time in Cu Chi. Our tour offers a unique opportunity to witness the war history of Vietnam by exploring the underground Cu Chi Tunnels. You'll have the chance to see the booby traps used during the war and explore the ex-US Army tank from the Vietnam War by touching it. Additionally, you'll be able to crawl inside the tunnels of Cu Chi and taste the locally grown Viet Cong food, tapioca, next to the tunnels. Finally, you'll witness the propaganda of Viet Cong soldiers in Tan Phu Trung Ward and experience the underground Hoang Cam kitchen. The highlight of the tour is when you can experience crawling into the Tunnels to feel what it was like during the war.

The Cu Chi Tunnels, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were an extensive network of underground tunnels that served as a critical strategic location during the Vietnam War. Constructed over several years, the tunnels spanned more than 250 kilometers and were made up of multiple layers, including living quarters, kitchens, meeting rooms, hospitals, and even schools. The tunnels were dug by hand, using rudimentary tools such as shovels, hoes, and picks, and the workers would remove the soil from the tunnels and conceal it in nearby fields to avoid detection. Navigating through the Cu Chi Tunnels was a complex task, requiring specialized knowledge and training. The tunnels were narrow, with a height of only a few feet, and were often filled with traps and obstacles, such as spike pits and hidden doors. The Viet Cong soldiers were trained to move silently and quickly through the tunnels, using their knowledge of the terrain to avoid detection.

Tommy is a really good guide, funny and very informative. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn Vietnamese history
Tommy was excellent, friendly and explained everything, answered all the questions, took pics for us, made sure we all got involved - a great day out
Very enthousiastic and flexible guide Leo made our day. Would recommend :)
It was an emotional and moving experience, thanks to our guide Tommy. It is perfect for anyone wanting to dive into history and truly understand how the war unfolded and what its consequences were
Absolutely worth it Really immersive experience and one of the best ways to understand the history of the Cu Chi tunnels. The visit is a little fast, but you still get to hear a lot of stories and really feel the atmosphere of the place. The biggest highlight was our guide, Jack. He’s a teacher and historian, and his family history and own military experience made everything feel much more real and personal. The site can be busy, but our small group made the experience much better. Perfect for anyone curious about Vietnamese history and okay with a bit of walking and some very tight tunnels haha.
This is a must do experience in HCMC and Tommy was an amazing host! Easy pick up and drop off from my hotel and great communication in lead up to the tour. Tommy told us a lot about the history of Saigon and it was a really enjoyable experience. I enjoyed the small group size and comfortable vehicle. Thanks again.
We had an amazing day with Tommy as our guide. Learned alot about the methods the Vietnamese used to survive and fight in the war, and got to go into the tunnels ourselfs.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic experience, especially thanks to Kero We did two tours with Joy Journeys: the visit to the tunnels and the excursion to the Mekong Delta, and we enjoyed both experiences very much. The tours were very well organized, were interesting, and allowed us to get to know places and aspects of Vietnam that are really worth it. But we want to make a special mention of our guide, Kero, because without a doubt he was one of the best parts of the experience. Kero is a charming person, very kind, and always willing to help. It is very noticeable that he enjoys his work and that he has a true vocation for teaching and sharing his culture. He explained everything to us with interest, patience, and warmth, was attentive to the group at all times, and made the excursions not only interesting, but also very pleasant and fun. We take away a wonderful memory of both the tunnels and the Mekong Delta and, especially, of having had Kero as a guide. Totally recommended. Thank you, Kero! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cu Chi with Boky is an amazing experience. Boly very patiently told us about the history. Cherry on the top he is really entertaining and great photographer.
