Belgian Beer World Experience: Beer Tasting + Rooftop Beer

Well done general information about Belgian beer industry. Interactive displays worked well and were interesting. Liked the beer on the roof top. We also found the archeological site interesting. The building itself is beautiful.

Fun and interesting but not extravagant. The rooftop is really nice with good views and brews.

This was a good way to spend an hour in the city when I had no other plans, but do not trip over yourself to book it or think it is a 'must-do'. The actual museum part itself is disappointing. It is clearly trying to be tech-forward but the displays were repetitive and I found there was no solid structure. I didn't even realise it had started at first, everything was in a big spacious room and felt disjointed. The short film was very enjoyable. The staff were great - I think his name was Michele, he was very friendly and knowledgable. I went on a Thursday around 2pm and so there weren't many of us, if I had gone when it was busier/more crowded I think I would have had a bad time as the rooms get very hot and there doesn't seem to be any seating or air conditioning. The rooftop bar was a highlight with good views. It was around twenty euros which I think is reasonable but I would not pay again.

A beautiful experience Right from the reception, you have the opportunity to take a souvenir photo and receive it for free by email. The content of the visit is interesting and allows you to learn a lot about beer production. The tour alternates pleasantly between written information, animations, and interactive experiences, which makes the visit dynamic and fun. Halfway through the tour, a tasting of two beers is offered. Then, at the end of the visit, you can enjoy a complimentary beer on the rooftop. This can be chosen based on personalized recommendations obtained thanks to an interactive kiosk present during the tour. An experience that is both educational, friendly, and pleasant, which I recommend.

Disappointing visit. Overpriced, repetitive presentations, machine to personalise beer mat broken. Advertised discount on entry costs not honoured. Enjoyable 6 minute video on yeast, small tasting (2 small tubes), and one 'free' drink in the very busy public bar. Definitely would not recommend, too pricey. Go to a brewery or one of the many excellent bars for tastings instead.

This was a great experience in a fantastic building. Interactive, interesting and I’d say good value for money when compared to other venues/activities. Perhaps it helps that I love beer!!!

This was the 2nd beer museum my husband and I have done in Belgium ans this was ok for what it was. The information was very indepth and thorough but that did mean a lot of reading throughout the self-guided tour. The museum is in a beautiful building and its over multiple floors. You get two large shot glasses of beer midway through but there was no leaflet or information on what you are drinking and the woman serving really didn't appear to want to be there and wasn't particularly friendly. There is a lack of seating throughout the venue and there is no air conditioning so it gets really hot in there when you're walking around. In the giftshop, we didn't buy anything however we both won a free beer using the spin to win wheel which was a great addition. Regarding the rooftop bar, the views are incredible but thats all really. Inside its extremely hot without any air-conditioning, its absolutely stinks or urine and vomit, like you would expect at a nightclub at 4am which was extremely off putting when trying to enjoy my free beer. The queue for the beer was really long and there was no reserved seating for ticket holders so we didn't stay long or order any food as there were no tables available. The beer we had was very good, just the experience as a whole could be improved.

Located in the old Brussels Stock Exchange building, the experience offers a 360-degree view of the history of beer with a particular focus on Belgian beer. The various interactive rooms are very nice, as is the possibility of choosing from over 100 beers at the end of the tour to taste in complete tranquility on the rooftop bar with a view of the Grand Place. Another plus is the souvenir coaster, printed with the recommended beers based on a small taste test, which we liked. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to approach the world of Belgian beer. The ticket also includes a visit to the archaeological excavations under the building.

Super fun experience and learned a lot. The building is also beautiful in and of it's self. The tasting, and the rooftop really make it worth while. The view is so lovely. I had a raspberry beer, and it was perfect!

Unfortunately we weren't very impressed. I know it's a museum rather than a brewery, but it wasn't very interesting in our opinion. We also felt it was expensive. Could also benefit from some air conditioning
