Excellent Belfast Irish Whiskey Tour with Vincent I had a fantastic day on the Irish Whiskey Tour to Belfast on 18 September 2026, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, interesting, and well-organised private day trip. The experience offered a great mix of Belfast’s history, culture, shopping, and whiskey heritage, all made even better by our wonderful driver, Vincent. Vincent was absolutely marvellous from beginning to end. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable about Belfast and its history. He made the journey enjoyable and relaxed, ensuring there was plenty of time at each stop without the day ever feeling rushed. His warm manner and helpful approach really added to the overall experience. Our first major stop was the Peace Wall, which was a powerful and thought-provoking part of the day. Seeing it in person gives real perspective on Belfast’s complex past and the importance of peace and reconciliation. Vincent provided useful context and made sure we had time to take photographs and reflect on what we were seeing. We also visited McConnell’s Distillery, located at the historic Crumlin Road Gaol site. It was an excellent visit, combining the story of a Belfast whiskey brand with a memorable setting steeped in local history. McConnell’s visitor experience is based in the former gaol complex and explores the brand’s Belfast roots. A visit to an Irish tourist gift shop was a welcome addition, with a good opportunity to pick up quality souvenirs, gifts, and Irish products. The day concluded at Titanic Belfast, one of the city’s standout attractions, where we had time to explore the museum and learn more about the ship’s construction and Belfast’s shipbuilding legacy. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and varied tour, but Vincent’s care, professionalism, and excellent company made it especially memorable. Five stars without hesitation.
Booked an amazing 2 day private whiskey tour in Ireland with Gary. He had amazing recommendations of what we should see. Gary made sure that everything was perfect. He even contacted the hotel we were staying at to let them know that we were celebrating my husband birthday. Our driver Gabriel made us feel like family from the minute he picked us up. Even adding special touches like providing water, crisps and candy! He was so kind to reach out to a couple of the whiskey distilleries to adjust our tour times so that our day flowed better. Both Gary and Gabriel went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend booking them. You will be in very good hands.
Hi Rita, Thank you so much for your fantastic review of Ireland Whiskey Tours and Gabe. We’re delighted to hear that you both had such a great time. Thanks a million for booking with us — we truly appreciate it!
We booked a 3-day tour with Ireland Whiskey Tours and it was an absolutely top-class experience from start to finish. Everything was exceptionally well organised and delivered to a very high standard throughout, yet still felt personal and relaxed the whole way. Gary handled all the planning and organisation, and it really showed in how smoothly everything ran. The itinerary was clearly carefully put together, with a great balance of distilleries, scenic stops, and downtime so nothing ever felt rushed. Our driver and guide, Dan, was excellent throughout the trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Irish whiskey, and he brought each distillery visit to life with great stories and insights that made the experience far more engaging than we expected. What really stood out was the personal touch he added—during the trip he organised a surprise birthday moment for one of the group at a distillery stop, which made the day extra special and something we’ll all remember. Transport was comfortable, the schedule ran smoothly every day, and the whole experience felt effortless from our point of view. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We left with great memories, a real appreciation for Irish whiskey, and would highly recommend Ireland Whiskey Tours to anyone considering a whiskey tour in Ireland.
