Explore the most turbulent period in Belfast's history. Discover how tensions escalated, leading to outbreaks of violence and terrorism in the 1970s. Witness how Belfast residents pay tribute to their heroes through murals in their neighbourhoods. Visit the areas where everything unfolded: citizen protests, attacks against the civilian population, and confrontations between the IRA and Protestant paramilitary groups. We'll visit significant sites for both sides of the conflict, such as the International Peace Wall and memorials built by each faction. The tour will conclude by examining the peace process in Northern Ireland and the decline of violence in the streets.
We will meet at the front gate of the City Hall
We will approach Divis Tower and learn about the significance of the building as an British army base during the conflicts
We will learn about the meaning behind some of the murals on the International Peace Wall, dedicated to the causes that Republicans feel identified with.
ChatGPT We will pass by a memorial garden dedicated to the members of the "D" Division of the IRA, and then we will arrive to the Bobby Sands mural.
We continue our journey along Cupar Way, passing by the Peace Wall, where we can leave our own message of peace.
Across Shankill Road, we will explore the lesser-known side of the conflicts by visiting murals dedicated to the neighbourhood's heroes or the memorial for the innocent victims of the Bayardo pub bombin

The guide did not speak Spanish well. At the meeting point, she did not identify herself with an umbrella or an object to be able to see her. Then a torrential rain started and she continued the walking tour as if nothing happened. Terrible experience with this company.
Tour guide was super helpful and knew a lot about both aspects. We had some tough weather but she kept it positive and we ended up learning a lot.
I was with my family and friends (6 people group) in Belfast earlier this week. We decided to hire a private tour with this company and Andrés attended us. Andres is a machine. Great knowledgeable about the history and idiosyncrasies of not only Belfast but Northern Ireland as a whole. As you travel with him you are taking a dive into the streets, characters, legends and stories of this beautiful and long-suffering city. He tells it all hard without becoming tedious. Delve in on request and also gave us some luxury stops in unforgettable pubs and cafes that you would skip if you went on your own. The political tour I recommend so that you know the true spirit of Belfast. Thank you very much Andres and I hope you do very well. Jotace HEC
If you are interested in all the political and conflict issues you can not miss this tour, very interesting
We did the Belfast political tour with the Laura guide and loved it! He explained the history of the conflict in a very clear and close way, and solved all our questions so that we could understand everything without problem. Many thanks also to Andrés, who organized everything excellently and was attentive throughout. Highly recommended!!
Daiji ( David) was really good guide, we really enjoyed the tour although initially it was booked in Spanish-speaking but the guide had an inconvenience and they suggested to us join the English-speaking one. 💯
Very interesting and enlightening tour of history and present. Laura was an excellent guide, open to evacuating our questions clearly and willingly. Unmissable experience.
Fully recommended. To highlight the extensive knowledge of our guide, Laura. Attentive and close. A great experience.
We toured with Laura who told us the history of the Catholic quarter and the Protestant quarter in a very clear and enjoyable way. 100% recommended.
