Just to provide the ‘other side of the story’ to your review, here are a few facts relating to our tour: - you were a group of 4 young (immature?) men who had to come to Heidelberg for a stag night. Our tour began at 16.00 but you proudly told me your ‘drinking exploits’ had begun much earlier. That you were all heavily under the influence of alcohol was immediately apparent. - your ‘leader’ had booked the tour without reading the description of the tour where it clearly states a citytour is part of the experience. You were all surprised by this & asked for it to be omitted, saying drinking beer was your only interest. Trying to spontaneously improvise I offered you the opportunity to drink some highly regarded locally brewed beer in my nearby garden. This you all agreed to. - if your ‘leader’ had bothered to read the tour description he would have seen it clearly states that the first beers are on me and the rest are on you. ( something that is reflected in the modest price of the tour). Having agreed to take part in some of the constant ‘shot’ drinking, that was an integral part of your ‘celebration’, I consented to paying for all your drinks in the first bar we went to. Having already payed for your first beers this was a larger expense for me than normal. - perhaps your review is also somewhat influenced by me not being able to help you with your request to help you procure illicit drugs for the next part of your ‘celebration’. Or perhaps by the unfavorable responses you received from the many attractive young females that your group chose to harass during our time together. Either way I very much look forward to never meeting you again or serving such,‘drunk young boys on a stag night’ clientele again. Very sincerely yours, Henry Cottam.
