Absolutely the most boring and senseless Beatles tour on the face of this earth. Lots of walking around to waste time til the one stop tube ride to Abbey road. Save your time and money and just go there and Google the Beatles and you've done a better job.
Excellent tour very knowledgeable and personable guide
Spencer was knowledgeable and entertaining. Definitely great value for the money and would highly recommend to anyone interested in the Beatles
This was the worst tour I’ve ever been on in my life. Our tour guide, Spencer was a disaster. He talked too much, mostly about himself and when he did get to the Beatles, he made up stories to include himself. For example, he told of how he helped Paul write “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”. John wrote that song. He also said he played guitar on “Those Were the Days” (nope) and that he was sitting next to Paul as he wrote the word “Nah” over and over on a napkin - the coda to “Hey Jude”. He also said he was with Jimi Hendrix the night he died. When he wasn’t making up outrageous falsehoods, he was talking about himself. And it took up so much time, almost 4 hours. I didn’t want to challenge him because the other guests were having a good time. I also wanted to make sure I got to the Abbey Road section at the end of the tour. To top everything off, at the end, Spencer sold a book he wrote to the unsuspecting tourists - more lies? That certainly took a lot of gall. Don’t go on this tour, it was really unpleasant.
The tour was awesome; the guide really made an effort to get your attention with facts, comments, and music. We walked around different iconic places where the Beatles were or had some relevance in their history.
First time in the uk. I booked this Tour via gocity and it was an cool and interesting experience to this special places. Thanks Rob, good job!
The tour was so much fun and our guide, Charlie, was awesome! Loved seeing so many cool sights and hearing so many interesting stories about the Beatles and their time in London. Charlie was personable, knowledgeable and made the tour even better. Could not have asked for anything more!
The tour itself was enjoyable, and the guide did a great job. However, the walking portion was much longer than expected. The most disappointing aspect was that, after paying for the tour, we were required to pay an additional fee for the underground ride. It wasn’t the extra cost that bothered us, it was the lack of transparency, as this was not disclosed in advance. Another issue was that several participants continually pushed their way to the front of the group, making it difficult for others to interact with the guide or ask questions. This detracted from the overall experience and made the tour less enjoyable for everyone else.
The Beatles Tour was quite interesting, I learned plenty of new facts about the Fab Fours I didn't know. We saw some of the Beatles former residencies including Paul's house which is actually still owned by him. I really can recommend this tour to all Beatles fans!
There is a lot of walking with excellent commentary about the Beatles in London in Marylebone. This walking tour includes a ride on a city bus to get to T. John’s Wood for the end of the tour to see the neighborhood of Paul McCartney. Spencer is a good guide.
