The underwater scenery was absolutely superb, and the experience itself could have been amazing. However, I’m giving this a 3-star rating because I had already informed the scuba instructor BEFORE the dive that I was scared and did not want to go deeper than 2 metres. During the dive, I repeatedly signalled that I wanted to go back up and told the instructor several times that I no longer wanted to continue. I was also filming the entire experience with my Insta360 before and during the dive. What concerned me most was that even after I had clearly said I wanted to stop, the instructor kept encouraging me to stay underwater to take photos, which I understood were being offered for sale after the dive. I said no several times and made it clear that I did not want to go underwater anymore. At that point, I felt that my safety and comfort should have been the priority. When we finally reached the surface, the instructor told me that we had been diving for 35 minutes. However, this did not match my Insta360 footage. From the moment I started the experience until I reached the shore was around 22 minutes, and according to my recording, I was already back on the surface after less than 8 minutes underwater. The underwater scenery was beautiful, but I believe that when a customer repeatedly says they are scared and wants to stop, that decision should be respected immediately. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously, especially when it comes to customer safety and consent during diving experiences.
