Basic Desert 3 Days 2 Nights from to Marrakesh

Description
This short 3 days / 2 nights tour will take you to discover southern Morocco and the immense and colorful Erg Chebbi desert near Merzouga. Legend has it that when a wealthy local family refused hospitality to a poor woman and her son, God buried the whole family under mounds of sand in a location 50km south of Erfoud, now known as Erg Chebbi. You can spend an unforgettable night in the dunes in an equipped tented camp admiring a wonderful starry sky and enjoying the tranquility of the desert. During the tour you will have the opportunity to visit the Dades and Todra Gorges, the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and that of Ouarzazate.

Amazing experience…we took this trip to Morocco as a family with two children aged 10 and 12, and among many things, we booked the 3-day excursion into the desert with departure and return to Marrakech. It is practically a fairy tale, the children were amazed, and the Sahara Desert is stunning. Among other things, we had a guide named Mohammed with us, who, knowing the area perfectly and also being impeccably prepared in the history of the territory (and beyond), made the trip even more exciting. If you have the chance, request his presence because, among other things, he speaks Italian very well and is truly knowledgeable.
An experience to repeat, I must thank the guide Mohamad ait haddou, he was truly thorough in his explanations of every stop we made, truly a wonderful and kind person.
Describing these three unforgettable days in words is almost impossible, because everything was simply perfect. A special thanks goes to our travel companions: the guide Mohammed, who won us over with his passion, friendliness, and willingness to tell us about every place, and the driver Hami, always precise and attentive at the wheel despite the long hours of driving. With them we had a lot of fun and we constantly felt safe. The itinerary and stops were nothing short of enchanting: from Aït Ben Haddou to the Dades Gorges, passing through the Todra Gorges and the gateway to the desert (and many other places). The first night, spent at the Riad Gabsi Dades, gave us a magical atmosphere among mountains, an amazing pool and view, impeccable service, and delicious food both at dinner and breakfast. The highlight of the trip, however, was the desert: on the way there, a wonderful two-hour camel ride at sunset. The night, spent in a very clean tent camp (with excellent dinner) and equipped with every comfort, culminated in an indelible memory: Mohammed took us to the top of a dune to chat under an expanse of stars, illuminated only by the moonlight. We were moved and thanked him for giving us an indelible memory. On the way back, the quad bike excursion added an extra touch of adrenaline and fun. Both experiences, although tiring, are absolutely worth it to experience the desert from different perspectives. On the last day we also had the pleasure of meeting Hassan, the manager, an exquisite, helpful, and very nice person. I will never forget this trip and I will forever keep Mohammed and all of you in my heart. Thank you because, through your presence, your stories, and your attention, I was able to get to know, understand, and fall in love with the colors, flavors, scents, and soul of a wonderful culture.
Fantastic guide Barak who doesn't just tell you historical facts but makes you see things from a personal point of view, transporting you into the deepest part of the local culture. We traveled with two children and in that aspect too it was fantastic, sweet, friendly; they adored him immediately. The best! In just 3 days he stayed in our hearts! RELAXX
A very beautiful trip not only thanks to the places visited, the landscapes seen, the enchantment of the desert and its silences, the culinary delights tasted, but also thanks to the fantastic guide (Mohamad ait haddou) and the driver who accompanied us for many kilometers, in a Morocco rich in traditions and beauties that will always remain in our hearts!
I did the 2-night tour from Marrakech passing through the desert to Fes and it was wonderful, excellent organization, our driver Barak spoke Italian very well, he showed us beautiful places telling us a thousand curiosities about Berber and Moroccan traditions. I highly recommend the tour with this agency and especially the driver, a true professional.
Tiring, but unique! The guide Abdel speaks Italian very well and explained some things during the journey, and the driver Pdor was excellent even on the winding roads! Excellent Riad Gasbi! Less so the tented village, perhaps also due to the unfavorable weather conditions. Sandstorm for 2 hours of camel riding and light rain. They still tried to entertain us as best as they could! Too many tourist trap stops, and in my opinion, the gorges deserve more time! We did not do the quad experience due to the high cost, but the jeep ride back was incredibly fun!!
The tour was excellent, well organized, and both the guide and the driver were great. Both the hotel and the tent were fantastic. Recommended!
We relied on Hissam's agency for the tour in the Merzouga desert, which included very fascinating and unexpected intermediate stops, accompanied by excellent explanations from our guide, Mohamad Ait Haddou. Always available, kind, and attentive to his clients. Absolutely recommended and super reliable.
A unique and unforgettable experience. Beyond all expectations, especially thanks to our special guide Aithaddounohamad, who pampered and amazed us throughout the trip. To be repeated: Zaira, Giovanna, Mara, and Claudia
