My family and I took the advertised 2‑hour Barcelona Tuk Tuk tour on August 20th, 2026, and unfortunately the experience did not match what was promoted. Our original 10:00 AM booking was cancelled after we had already paid in full and we were moved to a later time with no compensation. The meeting point had no signage or staff, leaving us unsure if we were in the right place. Because we were a group of five, we were split into two tuk tuks. I was placed with non‑English speakers, so the driver had to switch languages constantly, resulting in limited commentary despite booking an English tour. My wife and children received even less information in the second vehicle, highlighting inconsistent quality between drivers. Several advertised stops—such as the Olympic Stadium—were not included, and other locations like the Gothic Quarter were only viewed from a distance. The website’s promise of a “stroll among medieval streets” simply did not happen. The tour also ended after about 1 hour and 45 minutes, short of the full two hours. For €215 (plus tip), the experience did not provide value, and I cannot recommend this tour at its current price point.
Great! Tour guide knowledgeable. Great driver. Spoke Well in English. Friendly. Place was hard to find ( meeting place) as It was mixed with the other tuk tuk tours
After doing some significant research on these tours and reading the reviews, I opted to do a 2hr tour based on the itinerary and the 16 x5 min stops and a number of drive by’s that were planed. The driver was running 20 mins late due to traffic and we finally boarded at 2.50. From there we had 2 stops, 1 x3 mins and another for 10 mins with a couple of quick parks. We also had an unpleasant experience with a speed bump at significant speed which made all 4 of us realise that she had to make up for lost time to ensure that the 4.30 booking was met on time. We arrived back at the HQ at 4.25 so she had completed her job. As a footnote the driver continuously complained about the age of the TukTuk, lack of suspension and power on numerous occasions. I don’t leave bad reviews and as previously mentioned and read both negative and positive and made my own assessment. In this case I made a bad choice. I understand that “things happen” that impact businesses but I have never had a situation where one group had to be significantly downgraded on a tour to ensure the next booking was fulfilled. While it did give us a snapshot of Barcelona the experience did not meet the itinerary and the issues experienced by the driver on the previous tour impacted ours so no - do your research better than I did - I would not recommend this.
Thank you for your review. ❤️ We would like to correct several points, because your review gives a misleading impression of what actually happened. The guide was **approximately 10 minutes late**, not 20, due to traffic. As clearly explained to our customers, traffic delays can occasionally occur in Barcelona. Despite this, the tour was completed and you returned to our base at **4:25 pm**, only five minutes before the next scheduled departure. The suggestion that the tour was shortened to compensate for the delay is simply incorrect. **You saw the entire itinerary that was possible within the tour**, and the guide made the planned stops. If passengers choose not to get out of the tuk-tuk to take photographs, we obviously cannot force them to do so. A stop does not mean that passengers are required to leave the vehicle for a specific number of minutes. Our routes are designed to combine driving through Barcelona with stops at key points, and the itinerary clearly explains this before booking. The fact that you personally expected to spend more time outside the vehicle does not mean that the tour was not delivered as advertised. WalkTuk is one of the most requested tuk-tuk companies in Spain, operating thousands of successful tours every year. We take our service and our vehicles seriously, and we will not accept a review suggesting that our guides deliberately downgraded a tour when the evidence simply does not support that claim. We are sorry the experience did not match your personal expectations, but that is very different from saying that the service was not provided correctly. We hope you will give WalkTuk another opportunity in Barcelona or in any of our other cities. 💙
Frederico with walktuktuk tour was amazing! We saw everything we wanted to in a very iunique open air vehicle. It definitely helped with the heat as we had a nice breeze!
Our driver was amazing. Full of information and went the extra mile to show us secret spots for great photos. Definitely worth booking.
We received a confirmation, got to the meeting point before time. Nobody turned up to meet us. Called the tour company and received a voice message in Spanish and no return call. Not even an apology!!! We only had 2 days in Barcelona and wasted a morning with this debacle . I am amazed that trip advisor would recommend such a company. I am not sure if I have been charged yet as I am still travelling. But i thought this was a very poor way to treat customers We will not be booking with trip advisor again.
We're sorry to read your review, but it does not correspond to WalkTuk. After checking our records, we cannot find any reservation matching the situation you describe, and we have no record of a customer being left waiting at the meeting point without assistance. It appears your review may have been posted on the wrong company's profile. We kindly ask you to verify the tour provider and update or relocate your review accordingly, as it does not reflect an experience with WalkTuk. ❤️💙
Very nice outing with sights around Gaudi and Barcelona. Definitely a good choice to quickly see something of the city and get an explanation.

We did a 2 hour tour on June 5th with Walk Tuk. Pick up was very near placa catalunya. It was a great overview of barcelona especially for first time visitors. The driver was a good tour guide with lots of helpful info. It’s not the cushiest of seats, but we did fine. Well done.
Thank you for your review ⭐ We’re glad you enjoyed the 2-hour tour and that it gave you a great overview of Barcelona, especially as first-time visitors 😊🛺 We also appreciate your note about the seats and will keep working to improve comfort. Our guides are in continuous training to provide the best possible experience. Hope to see you again for another WalkTuk adventure! 🛺✨
Terrible. We were only in Barcelona for one night and booked the TukTuk Tour to maximize our time and see the sights. We spent several euros to get to the meeting point. After 5 minutes had passed and no tour bus I sent a message via the app and was informed that our tour had been cancelled. We were not informed of this prior to our arrival and were highly disappointed that our tour did not take place.
We are sorry that you were disappointed, but your review omits important facts. The activity was not cancelled without notice. Our team attempted to contact you repeatedly over two days through multiple channels, including phone calls and emails, in order to inform you about the situation and offer assistance. After several unsuccessful contact attempts, the booking was cancelled. For this reason, it is not accurate to state that you were only informed after arriving at the meeting point. We always make every effort to contact guests before taking such a decision. We regret that we were unable to reach you and hope you were still able to enjoy your time in Barcelona. ❤️💙🛺
Great way to see Barcelona on a short time frame! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, told us all about each monument we saw; highly recommend!
