Barcelona Rooftop Paella Cooking Class with Sangria & Local Host

Benjamin was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. His English was very good so we had no trouble communicating. The location was on a narrow one way street in an industrial residential area with minimal signage. Luckily our taxi driver ensured we were in the right place before leaving but you may have difficulty if you're arriving on your own. You do have to go up 3 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop and there is no elevator option. Our entire group enjoyed the experience and would love to do another class with him!

Benjamin was the ultimate host and chef. Loved everything about this Rooftop Spot in Barcelona. The care and quality of his style and cooking is above and beyond the norm. I We will go back and visit when here again as he is a wonderful host and chef !!!

Our chef Patrick gave us a Michelin experience. Patrick made sure all the people participated. He was thorough in his explanation of what ingredients were being used and how he was having us prepare it would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone

While the location felt a bit off the beaten track, the experience was fantastic! Our host Cesare was kind, patient and lots of fun. Beautiful fresh ingredients, lovely delicious food and Sangria. Great facilities. Super good value.

First, don’t let the meeting place throw you off. It’s on a non-descript street/alley with a blue door. The cooking was lots of fun with lots of information on the how and why of making traditional Paella as well as how others regions make it. Hands on for the whole group. Sangria was great! Plan on it going closer to three hours and two, so you can relax and joy. Benjamin was a great instructor!

Easy location with a quick subway ride from the main part of the city. Subway system is very easy to navigate! Felt like a true authentic locals experience.

It was a cooking class for just my 2 friends and I and we had so much fun. He taught us about everything we needed to know about history, all the things we could do if we did this ourselves at home without the space he had, and we did every step ourselves. We made a couple batches of sangria, tomato bread and seafood paella and it was more than enough food for us 3. We had so much fun with our instructor and he was so funny so we had a blast the whole time. I’ve done other cooking classes in different areas that were larger and I thought this was the best because I got to learn every step and ask any questions we wanted to. Highly recommend taking this class! I would do it again if I come back to Spain!

This was such an awesome experience. The guide was so knowledgeable on the history of paella and explained the process very well. my friends and I had a great time and the meal was our favorite from our week in barcelona! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting the area!!
