First time I booked a night tour in Barcelona, even if it wasn't my first time visiting. Our guide, Xavi, was extremely knowledgeable and very proud of his city and his Catalunian origins. He made a very interesting speech while we were admiring this marvelous city, that spanned across centuries of history, local, Catalan and contemporary culture, arts, architecture and local anecdotes. I really recommend taking the tour at night, especially in August, not only for the pleasant breeze but also for the beauty of the monuments under the night lights. I can understand why the tour itself might bore some americans, as the info being shared is pretty soaked in European culture, and you need a minimum knowledge in order to fully appreciate the story of this place. Trully memorable experience for the rest, I highly recommend it!
Good night your with a personal touch from the guide on a microphone rather than a tape which was good, lots to see and hear about a good way to see the city at night
The pick up point was not clear and when I messaged for help no one responded The pick up point said plaza Cataluña but the park is surrounded by different roads. It wasn’t clear were we needed to go
This was a real disappointment! Bus drove too fast and the guide spoke so fast you couldn’t catch half of what he said. This was our only Barcelona tour before a cruise. I wasn’t able to take clear pictures due to how fast bus was going. It really was bad. Worst tour of all my travels! I feel robbed of the $51+ So sad
We missed the experience because we were late by 1 min due to traffic. There was no way to contact the operator at the time of the experience. I tried contacting the operator Julia Travels and Viator the following day to see if we could reschedule but were rudely denied. I understand being denied but being rude is not nice.
I had booked with difficulty with the team waited at the map location nobody called. Then I saw another bus at exactly 9:30 the time informed They scanned my qr code and told it’s another company. No courtesy of calling the customer and checking. Well if looting is the means this is definitely the best way. Since there was no intimation in called the provided number multiple times. No response I waited for another 12 minutes for any response to my calls by continuously calling.
Dear RohitVP, Thank you for shearing your feedback. Please notice that you can find all the information related to the itinerary of our routes on our official selling spots and website, including the location of all of our stops. Best regards,
This bus ride tour was enjoyable, went with husband and three teenagers. Everyone was seated on the top level of the open-air bus, it was a very nice evening and the gentle breeze felt good. We had to wear earphones that they gave us to listen to our tour guide… (mine kept falling out which was annoying but the rest of our party seemed fine). Very fun seeing the Sangrada Familia but disappointing to see a large crane extended over one area (but tour guide says it is ALWAYS under construction.) Saw numerous fountains, statues, buildings, Olympics stadium, etc and never in my life have I been excited about architecture before coming to Barcelona and seeing the Gauldi (sp?) buildings… but WOW!!! Very exciting to see! My 18 year old son said the tour was “better than (he) expected…” and after the 9:30pm tour (approximately 2 hours), a few places were still open to grab some grub to take back to the hotel. Tour guide Claudia was enthusiastic and I enjoyed her music references incorporated into her guidance. ***note to Tour Company: Two guys in front of us were FaceTiming with their family for awhile which was distracting and annoying, maybe have a rule to not have phone or video calls while on the tour.*** Thanks!
Great tour we like it. The only issue is people were smoking and vaping in the bus during the tour and it was around the kids.
The tour and guide were great. The guide shared lots of information and the tour locations were breathtaking. Unfortunately the speaker’s microphone kept cutting out and reconnecting, making it hard to keep up with the details she was sharing. I recommend this tour and I suggest to City Tour that you check your sound system connectivity.
Riding the bus was fun, saw lots but bus doesn’t stop so very few picture taking opportunities. Other tours probably better, much preferred the Tuk-tuk.
