On this two-hour morning walking tour of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter (known as the Barri Gotic), you will visit the district's streets, squares and old buildings, and learn about the quarter's history and people.
Alongside Barcelona's medieval buildings are the remains of the ancient Roman city, and the walking tour includes a visit to the Temple d'August, the best preserved Roman relic in Barcelona.
You will also visit the Placa del Rei, where you will see many medieval buildings, including the Palatine chapel of Santa Agata.

Reach the front of the Cathedral, while fronting it, turn to the building on the left side of the square where you will see a sliding door with the red "I" of information. Go inside the the information office. Hotel pickup is not part of this experience.

Pilar was by far the best tour guide we had during our trip to Barcelona! She was incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, and passionate about her city. Her enthusiasm made our Gothic Quarter tour so engaging and gave us an even greater appreciation for Barcelona. We only wish she could have been our guide for all of our other tours! Highly recommend Pilar!
Could not recommend. I arrived early for my tour, found many groups ready to start but couldn't find mine. Apparently they left without me. When I tried to reschedule they flat out refused to do so or refund me. Needless to say, I was a little pissed off. I can understand the no refund thing, but refusing to reschedule me (because they didn't have to) isn't great.

Admittedly, it could have been our fault, but we never found the meeting location. We were within 1 minute of walking according to Google Maps but no locals could point us in the correct direction. We called the American phone number and it was totally non refundable as advised prior, but they would not reschedule either. Instead we went through the Cathedral of Barcelona by ourselves
Alex did a great job winding us through the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. he had a lot of interesting information to share about the neighborhood. As an extra bonus, we were given free admission to the Frederic Mares Museum after the tour. Excellent experience!
The tour guide Iris was amazing! She was knowledgeable, witty and engaging. We wished the tour had a bit more walking and area covered, but Iris made up for it.
We arrived at the meeting point for the tour but could not find anyone, we saw a couple of other tours but weren't our one. Tried to contact tour operator but then could not access to receive or send further messages. We have not had the experience we paid for. We were looking forward to this and has cost us money and left us with no activity
It was a great experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this tour..
Loved seeing the beautiful old buildings and listening to the history of the quarter. My only complaint was that the tour guide had a nylon jacket on and the material gave a scratchy sound that fed into his mike. I finally took the microphone earbud from my ear as it was more than my ear could handle.
