Barcelona: first steps (from Sagrada Familia to Rambla)

One cannot see Barcelona without strolling down La Rambla, Main Street in downtown Barcelona. Do not be drawn in to the many patio Restarant’s along the street. The food is typically not good, the beers are very expensive and the servers project a “not interested” attitude. There are plenty of great places just off the Rambla with good food and reasonable prices. Walk in a block or two or head to the beach. You will find better service, better food and much more reasonable prices.
