Make sure you wear good hiking shoes if you intend to hike! Have a light jacket even in August and a Poncho or light rain jacket as weather tends to change fast in the upper elevation! They have a place called TRAPPER JERRYS saloon that has good food and beer,drinks of all kinds and sometimes they have a band that plays outside in the afternoons!
It was otherworldly at the top.! Absolutely beautiful! 3 alpine lakes you can hike to. My absolute favorite place! Only need to walk 2.5 miles to see one lake. 5.4 miles to see all 3.
We had a fabulous half day on the gondola and chairlift, and hiking to the 3 lakes overlook at the top. Enjoyed all of the helpful staff answering questions.
It may say tour but it's more a choose your own adventure kind of deal, lots of trails to choose from. Super fun, lots of ground squirrels 😁
Well run with very scenic well maintained trails. Not inexpensive but cheaper than Banff and worth it. It was hazy from wildfire smoke so we couldn’t see the views but the lakes and flowers were still beautiful. It must be stunning on a clear day
Amazing place. A little less traveled which was great in a high traffic area. Recommend vs the Banff Gondala. Took us to the top of the ski hill, walked across the continental divide, saw grizzley. Enjoyed great food at the top! Highly recommend!
The views were stunning and the walk at the top easy to do. The ride was smooth and the staff friendly.
Beautiful scenery, wildlife , spring flowers, easy trail with a bonus photo station at the lookout, great coffee stop on the meadow to enjoy the sun and the fresh air
More beautiful than Glacier NP! And I drop my pack off the chair lift. Rookie mistake! Elenor from the interpretive center hiked up the mountain to retrieve it for me. I am so grateful and impressed!
The weather varies wear layers. Views were outstanding from the lakes to the meadows full of wildflowers. Several options on trails to take.
