Bali Ubud Tour Monkey Forest, Waterfall, Temple & Rice Terrace

Yesterday we did this tour and it was amazing. Our tour guide was Indrawan and he was really nice. Even though it was difficult to understand each other, he made an effort and help us to get in touch with Bali culture.

Chiki was an AMAZING Tour guide!!! Brilliant knowledge, excellent English kind and funny. He was brilliant with us and rhe children and took us to the best spots for a full tour, ensuring we didnt wait in long lines and experienced Ubud at its absolute best. Highly recommend booking this team as the car was also very comfortable but please do request Chiki as he was brilliant. It was wonderful to learn ao many facts about the culture and history as well as all of the places we visited.

We had a very pleasant day with our guide, Indrawan, who was always available, attentive, and looking after us. He took photos of us, made sure we weren’t spending too much time in the heat, and explained the local customs and culture of Indonesia. He left us very happy at the end of the excursion. Irwan is kind, patient during the trip despite long wait at the swing and the long queue at the waterfall, He explained everything in details and whenever he would not understand he made sure he used the Google translator and give you the right information. Thank you Irwan for the good job done.

Picked up at 7:30am by our very sweet driver Arya. Started at the very popular Bali swing location, which you might recognize from all over instagram. To be honest, I didn’t realize what this was when I booked the tour. We showed up and immediately were given the price options, which included all 10 photo spots and you can add lunch and rent any dress of your choice. I wasn’t prepared so I rented the dress (which I would have anyways, they are designed specifically for the photo shoots and I’m glad I did.) Happy we arrived early, it opened at 8:00a and I think we were there just after — and already there were a lot of people (women) there. By the time we left the place was packed and I can’t even imagine how long the wait was. Did 8 of the 10 photo spots (kinda got burned out) and we also did the coy pond. (It’s a cute couple’s pic.) Next was Monkey Sanctuary- just the cutest! We fed them corn and learned about them from a guide who started walking with us. Turned out he was a photographer and then at the end wanted to sell us the pics. We did it since they’re only about $3 months each. Just be aware, and you’ll need cash. We like to support locals and he was very nice and gave us all the food we needed to feed the monkeys so it was definitely worth it. (Other people were buying theirs.) Next was a coffee plantation but they also had these amazing teas— we bought several but definitely wanted more!! Then we had lunch ( was delicious). Next was the famous waterfall where (again) Instagram pics are taken but by then we were full from eating and honestly getting a bit tired and hot. The line to take pics in the waterfalls was about an hour and as much as it would have been nice I just didn’t have the patience or energy so we took a quick look around and left. I wasn’t feeling 100% and so we unfortunately skipped the rice terraces and temple. I’m sad about that but it was 4:30p and we just lost steam. We might try to go tomorrow on our own since both locations look beautiful. Our guide Arya was very sweet. We joes that he’s more of a handler since he brought us to locations and then set us free to do whatever. I wish I had known more about the photo locations, I would have prepared more, and we were unaware that Arya would hand us off to a photographer at the Monkey Sanctuary but I think maybe there is just a disconnect in language, and probably he assumed we knew what was going on. I DEFINITELY recommend this tour if you are wanting to make all your friends jealous about your time Bali, lol. You will come away with some great pictures and videos.

I had a wonderful tour to the monkey forest, rice terrace, lunch at D’Yoni, the Holy Temple, and Kantolampo Waterfall. Rey did a very good job today as the guide and driver!

Excellent day trip we had a fantastic driver

What a fabulous trip of a lifetime. We are only in Bali for 6 days for a wedding and had 1 day free to try and see the island. We booked this tour last minute. Our guide Chiki couldn’t have been more perfect. He text us before the day to make arrangements and was at our hotel on time to pick us up. Having a local guide was brilliant, he talked us though Balinese life and culture while driving us around to the various sites. He also acted as our official photographer too! His knowledge of the sites was fabulous and answered so many questions from me!!! I couldn’t recommend this tour and especially Chiki to anyone wanting to have a taste of Bali.

We had an amazing experience with our driver, Laden, during our Bali day trip. From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. He made our day stress-free by handling all the transportation logistics while sharing great local knowledge and recommendations along the way.

Was a great experience. Reyy was our guide and he was great and very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend and book again!
