Bali Quad and Buggy Discovery Tour, Including Round-Trip Transfer

Bali Quad Discovery Tours offers probably one of the best ATV experiences near Ubud. The ATVs are more powerful and comfortable than most for sure. A few squeaks here and there with the breaks but ok, much better than the competition. Our pickup driver was very pleasant to talk to and so were our guides during the ride. Most of the rest of the staff was very hospitable as well and we appreciated it greatly. The route has pretty diverse terrain with plenty of inclines, declines, rocks, gravel, water, normal road and nice scenery. It is rather unfortunate that there is a considerable presence of garbage on many of the roads but I understand this is not the operator’s fault. The only thing that bothered us in the beginning was the delay. We were picked up on time by our driver (even a few minutes early as we were readily waiting before the arranged time) and we arrived on time. However, we waited there 1 hour to start the tour, I’m not sure why. While we were already waiting for a long time someone that we never saw again came to put a “safety and instructions video” though that should have happened way earlier and it felt like time was being saved. The operator seems to be very strict with timing so I think they should also not delay so much. I would recommend them because they offer a bigger and more varied route than most and because they have better ATVs than the competition.

Booked a quad bike tour through TUI and ended up here. Were picked up and both got a bag with 2 bottles of drinks and some candy. Nice reception. Arriving at the location there was opportunity to store the stuff in the safe and we got a cloth for our heads, a helmet and a face mask. The driver had to make a test round once with and without a passenger. After this, the trip started. Really very beautiful and adventurous trip through the forests, rice fields and an authentic village. Really amazing view! On the way we stopped to stretch our legs. We were sorry that some explanation was missing about the sights. After the short break we continued our journey. The view and the surroundings are really phenomenal and little touristy, which we find a great advantage. Through the woods with fairly steep up and downhill runs waiter bumpy and sometimes muddy roads.. so nice! Along the way, photos and film recordings were taken from the organization. Once back at the location we got a simple, but tasty lunch (rice, fried egg, cucumber and 2 sticks with some meat on top) there was also opportunity to buy some drinks. They ask for a 5 star review and in return you get a drink for free. We did not do this as a matter of principle, because we believe that an assessment should be authentic and not influenced by something free of charge. After lunch there was an opportunity to view and buy the photos and videos. We just bought the pictures. These cost 350,000 which we think is a reasonable price for a nice memory. Finally, there is an opportunity to go to the toilet and/or shower. Towels were provided there. Only flaw I found the hygiene of the toilet. The toilet seat was not fresh and needed replacing. But that is also the only downside I can name to a beautiful day!

Driver arrived on time to take us to location, super friendly. On arrival due rain they brought out umbrella and then gave us wet weather gear to wear. Tour was great fun, fantastic views of rural Bali and the guides super friendly. Lunch was hot and welcomed. Recommend.

Had a very nice tour through the unspoilt natural and local nearby villages. Sufficient attention has certainly been paid to individual time commitment. We were still lucky that we were the only couple of the afternoon, and it was therefore a ‘private trip’. Ps. Also compliments to the food, very tasty! The best chicken soup in my whole life!

We did the Quad Discovery Tour. I opted to have one of the drivers drive the quad with me as a passenger. They provide an excellent video and tgen you do the training track to ensure you can maneuver the quad effectively. The team is professional, customer oriented and enjoy what they do. My drivers was Wyan who comes from one of the villages we drove through on the tour. He was excellent and provided insight into the area, the culture, the crops grown and overall life in his village. I loved his insights and how proud he was of his home. The tour was so much fun and you get see the beautiful Balinese terrain. I would highly recommend this tour!

This buggy adventure is one of the best activities I have done. This is not a boring ride, this is an extreme off road track. We loved the attention to detail that the tour providers gave. We got to see amazing views, small villages and local people. I would recommend this tour for all of those a with a big adventurous spirit!
