Backland Alligator Electric Paddle Tour

Not having to paddle all the time. Our guide was wonderful. If you go ask for the tour of the empty house lol!

Our guide was so helpful and very knowledgeable about the birds, fish, mangrove trees, etc. it was obvious that he had a passion for what he was doing and that made the experience so enjoyable!

The whole experience was awesome. We would do it all over again next visit. Richard was a fantastic guide. The mangrove tunnel was beautiful and the marine life was great.

This tour was amazing! The motorized hybrid kayaks were so much fun!!! Shell Key Preserve was beautiful the water was so clear and the beach was beautiful and our tour guide Richard was excellent!!! Highly recommend this tour.

Richard was an amazing tour guide, knowledgeable and kind. Would definitely recommend. The eSUP was a great experience out on the water. When fighting the wind it made it an easier ride. We went through a mangrove tunnel, shelled at Shell Key Preserve, and met plenty of cormorants in which we’ve lovingly dubbed Florida’s Penguins. Must do excursion while in the Tampa area.

Amazing experience from start to finish! It was my best friend's birthday, and she was visiting from out of town. Native ESUP Adventures was incredibly responsive in working with us to schedule a private tour. We went out late afternoon. We paddled through a hidden mangrove tunnel to a private white sand island. We were the only people there- white sands, blue water, and amazing wildlife. Richard, the owner and our guide, explained the history of the area while we paddled. At the island, he surprised us with a birthday toast and wine and cheese. It was a lovely and amazing gesture! During the tour we saw egrets, dolphin, a baby shark, and schools of colorful fish. Richard was very knowledgeable and about the wildlife, and we learned so much. The paddling was as easy or as hard as you want it to be, as the paddleboards are motorized, so it is a great tour for people of all ages and fitness levels. We concluded the tour as the sun was setting at the end of a glorious sunny Florida day. My friend ranks it amongst her best birthday experiences ever! Fabulous trip! Free parking, easy to reserve and very hospitable. Memorable trip and looking forward to doing it again.

Richard’s knowledge of this area and the use of his motorized kayaks made this a fantastic excursion!! Loved the shell hunting and going thru the mangroves!! He was an exceptional guide!!
