Axe Throwing Session - One Hour

My girlfriend surprised me with axe throwing and air rifle shooting for a date day, had an amazing time especially with axes. The staff were great with us, encouraging and great at teaching us. I would encourage people to come by car if possible as its hard to get taxis out there to pick you up. I struggle with panic attacks when I feel trapped and upon realising it could be a struggle to get out I began to feel one coming on but the staff instantly came to reassure me and offered a lift into the village after where I could get a bus home from. Olly was great with the shooting, Nathan and his son showed me a lot with the axe throwing, and Nathan is the one who gave me a lift back out and checked I'm with me every now and again to make sure I was OK with getting out that way along with a bald gentleman whose name I didn't get who checked on me and reassured me too. All in all 11/10 experience and will be back.

Had an hour of axe throwing today. Great day, Nathan was keen to teach us the safety of each range first, but then just let us get on with it. As well as the hatchets, he showed us how to throw knives, tomahawks and a great big battle axe, then went round helping the group improve our techniques. They also do shooting and archery, and we could have happily stayed longer if they hadn't been fully booked. At the end of our session, Nathan was a total legend and gave us a lift to the local pub in the minibus. Would heartily recommend this activity centre to those who want to blow off a little steam and have some good laughs.

Brilliant, well worth a visit. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. The axe throwing was a lot of fun, so much so I want to do it again. Great facilities and good coffee.Definitely going back to try the other activities and do the axe throwing again. .

We went to Polowood to do axe throwing, but ended up doing clay pigeon shooting too. We would definitely recommend getting some cash out in case you want to do another activity on top of what you booked! George was our instructor for both and he is lovely! Just the sort of person you want as an instructor - you can tell he is passionate about what he does, he has a great sense of humour and is a real gentlemen. If you want to try something a bit different and get a bit competitive with your friends/family, we highly recommend Polowood. If we come back to the area, we’ll definitely be heading back to try the other activities! Thanks again George 😊

Such a cool, remarkable experience. When I was booking the event I wondered if one hour of throwing axes (and other things) could be that much fun…and YES it WAS! Nice people around who briefed us. Would definitely do it again.

This was such a fun activity to do and we had a great time. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcomed. Our instructor was so easy going and very knowledgeable. He explained how to do it really well whilst also giving us the freedom to just try it out. I will definitely be going back to try out more of the activities and would highly recommend to others to try out. Thanks for a great day out.

Had this gift as a present and didn’t expect to enjoy it that much. However, just had our session today with George and had such a great time. He was a brilliant coach and it was such fun. Would thoroughly recommend it and we are looking to book some activities for friends and family..

We came for a hen party weekend, and we had the best time! Nathan was fantastic, such a good instructor. We did axe throwing which also included knife throwing and shooting. The setting was gorgeous too, such beautiful countryside right outside Brighton. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. 100% recommend.

Excellent value for money, great staff who made the experience fun. would definitely go there again.
