We had a wonderful experience on our tour of the souk in Fez. Our guide was incredibly friendly and patient, taking his time to explain everything without rushing us. He shared so many helpful recommendations and insider tips that really enriched our visit. Thanks to him, we felt comfortable navigating the maze-like alleys and truly appreciated the culture and craftsmanship of the market. Highly recommended! Bonus: he took great pictures for us too!
Our Tour Guide Hassan was amazing and showed us all interesting places within the Medina, with explanation of e.g. herbs, leather production, hamam, and a lot of Information on Fes culture and history. Very entertaining and no rush even when we took more time to learn about Argan Oil. Lunch at the recommended Restaurant was absolutely worth it and we never would have found it by ourselves!
We had a guided tour in Fes and it was amazing. The guide was really knowledgeable and took us all around the Medina. We visited both historical sites and local shops. The shops were incredible — we saw a traditional tannery and a boutique with beautiful leather jackets, a pharmacy selling natural products also visited by the King of Morocco, and a couple of fantastic stores for fabrics, carpets, and gold jewelry. It was a perfect mix of culture, history, and authentic Moroccan craftsmanship. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at this riad. The entire property was spotlessly clean and very well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, right in the center, making it easy to explore the city on foot and visit all the main attractions. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and nicely presented every morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. A special thanks to Ayoub, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful during our stay. We would definitely recommend this riad and happily return!
Very nice tour where you get to see a lot. A friendly guide who knows a lot only talks fast so not everything is easy to follow. In proportion you also go into many shops where many handmade things are for sale and you get an explanation about that but where it also ends in a sales pitch. Proportionally it may be a little more sights for me and a little less shops. Nice that you also get to taste a local delicacy. What is nice about the tour is that you get the time to look around at your leisure. There is no end time that you can only walk around for a maximum of 30 minutes and then have to go again because of the time. In short, a nice city tour through a city where you miss a lot of the history and information without a guide but where little ones can improve.
Private tour of the Medina with entrance and in many artisan shops where you can see how they use looms for fabrics and carpets, how they work metals both by engraving and filigree. Inevitable stop at the tannery where the whole process for the work of the hides was explained, he also offered us a sweet with almond paste. Recommended!!
Very interesting details and information about the medina. Abdul took a lot of time for our questions and accompanied and also to places we wanted to see out of our interest. Highly recommended.
