I would 100% recommend this. It really took the hassle out of getting from Brisbane to Australia Zoo. Our guide/driver, Steve, was amazing. He was knowledgeable, funny and friendly. He pointed out so many interesting places along the way and told us so much about the history of the area. The only negative for us was leaving the zoo at 3pm. With two children (4 & 7), I feel like we could have used the extra few hours the zoo is open. That said, the children had a fantastic time and I don't think they felt like they missed out on much. Steve also definitely understands his passengers. He was nice and quiet on the drive back, which was honestly appreciated after such a full-on day. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.

I would 100% recommend...

Visit to see the Irwins
It was a fun trip to be out of city center area. Driver/guide Bruce was super nice and knowledgeable. Gave us a lot of tips to maximize our time at the zoo. Again, like all day trips, the time spent at zoo is too short. Did not like the fact that when we got there, we were taken to tour the rescue hospital first, loosing another 20-25 mins. It should have been an optional thing for those who are interested to go on their own time. Biggest surprise was all 4 Irwins were there that day for the croc show. We were told that it is rare, may be we went during holiday weekend (king’s birthday) and end of spring break.

Amazing Trip
Great day out, well organized and Steve our bus driver was very informative. Managed to catch the Irwin’s doing the croc show. All in all it was an amazing day!

We received an advance...
We received an advance email of the pick up point & suggested itinerary & map for the day at Australia Zoo from our driver & guide, Gurt, with assistance from his wife. During the drive, Gurt pointed out different sites and pulled over for a better view to take photos. We appreciated their suggested itinerary & map since there is so much to see in a short time frame. It is a huge facility and wished we could have stayed possibly an hour longer to not feel rushed at the end. Overall a fun day at the beautiful zoo with a kind & knowledgeable driver.
