Austin Guided Outdoor Climbing Experience

My day at Reimer’s Ranch with Rock-About exceeded my expectations. My guide, Isaac, brought all the gear and expertise needed to successfully climb 8 routes in one day. Having lived on the east coast most of my life, I’m just now being exposed to the beauty of hill country and limestone. I loved how climbing brought me so close to places in the rock I would have never seen or felt on the ground. Being newer to outdoor climbing, I was grateful for Isaac’s knowledge of which routes I’d be capable of climbing and still be challenged by. Highly recommend!

We met Adam at Reimers for a guided visit and to hone our outdoor lead climbing skills. He was early and had three top ropes set up before our meeting time. Adam is an excellent teacher. He communicates clearly and demonstrates all the skills he wants us to use. Without his guidance and coaching we would not have climbed as much and learned better lead climbing techniques. If you are trying to transition from indoor to outdoor climbing, returning to climbing or just want to climb things you are not (yet) comfortable leading, having Adam help guide you is a no brainer. Do this and you will have more fun!

The guides were so knowledgeable, fun, and really catered to exactly what we were looking for! They really created a safe environment for our middle school students to grow and do more than they thought possible! Would definitely sign up with them again.

Robert was great! We were Very New to Rock climbing and he taught us the hows and the whys and we felt very safe. Beautiful nature area nestled right in the city. Rock climbing is Hard work, but we had a lot of fun!

Just finished my 3rd climb with Rock-About in 4 months. Went to Enchanted Rock and it was such great climbing. Adam knows every route and he sets up the climbs perfectly for fun and to be challenging. Every single time I have climbed with Rock-About, I am so glad I did. Adam is totally professional, knows all the best climbing spots and routes in the areas and safety is always number 1. I can’t say enough good things about Adam and Rock - About. Enjoy your climb!

Our guide was knowledgeable, thorough and had a heart of a teacher! He was patient and taught us at our own pace and challenged us as he saw us progress. Highly recommend Rock-About if you are looking for an adventure that is safe, fun and builds character.

My 12 and 10 year olds has an amazing experience with the climbing at Mineral wells State Park. Clay was an excellent instructor. Definitely recommend.

Me and my 8 year old son had the best time and bonding experience. Sean was great and helping us, making it a great experience, and overall making the whole experience feel safe and enjoyable. Highly recommended!!
