Description
Eat your way through Auckland's hidden lanes on this moving feast of mouth-watering New Zealand-style food, with all food included.
Every stop is hand-picked by your local guide for great food and local vibes and you'll discover the real story of New Zealand cuisine — from traditional Māori influences to the modern flavors shaping Auckland's amazing food scene today.
Between restaurants, your guide will point out street art and city landmarks, so you're getting a taste of Auckland's culture as much as its cuisine.
Along the way, you'll duck into a local store for a crash course on New Zealand's quirkiest treats: from pineapple lumps (a chewy, chocolate-coated Kiwi candy) to hokey pokey — New Zealand's beloved honeycomb-toffee ice cream flavor.
Skip the tourist traps and expect a fun afternoon of eating well: appetizers, shared mains, and dessert, in a small-group setting that keeps things relaxed around the table and genuinely local.

Come hungry and leave filled with food and new friends.
Debbie was an absolute delight! All the samplings were authentic NZ and she provided lively and informative storytelling to pair with the delicious eats. Highlights clearly Wild Cocoa and Giapos - highly recommend the fluff cup and the Hokey Pokey for a taste of NZ.

Personal Experience in Auckland - Debbie is the best!
My husband and I had a private food walking tour with Debbie as our guide. She took us to wonderful spots that we wouldn’t have found on our own. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Auckland and an overall kind person to introduce us to Auckland. We’re grateful to have met her and had a fantastic time eating across Auckland!

The stories and food are memorable!!
Even though it’s a shared, set menu, the portions are very generous with enough variety to suit any palette. Alex was entertaining and thoughtful. Loved the way she captivated us with the inside historical drama of the area.
