This was an amazing experience! Private, intimate, exciting, educational, delicious and all around one of the best excursions my friends and I have ever been on. Abe, our guide, was awesome! Juan and his family farm was great to see and learn about. The ATV ride was not bad at all. Highly, highly recommend!
This is an exceptional experience. Atvs are top notch and the coffee plantation experience was educational, beautiful, and fun! The coffee is delicious. The hike and falls are just challenging enough and a great spot to cool off! We had a ‘Soda’ lunch nearby and loved every bite. Our guide was friendly, informative, and easy to follow. The owner was there to greet us and take care of the paperwork on time! Book this trip-you will love it!

Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. The views were stunning. The highlight of the trip was the stop at the coffee plantation where we enjoyed a tour and a wonderful lunch. Be advised, this is rugged terrain and you will get covered in dust, bring a face covering and water. The waterfall swimming was great, getting down to the waterfall was tricky. Overall an interesting adventure!

It was so fun and so chill with a sprinkle of adventure! Junior was so kind, and let us have plenty of time at the waterfall and the coffee farm! The coffee farm is incredible! We had a blast. Tevas or sandals that can get wet and that you can do a small hike in would be best! They provide goggles that are very helpful, and a bandana blocks the dust from your mouth! We saw monkeys and big blue butterflies! It was such a charming adventure!

It was a super great tour!!! For quad biking I would definitely bring a cloth for my mouth and nose and possibly a relatively closed pair of glasses. Refreshment in the waterfall was great and the tour of the coffee plantation was also great! Food very good, the farmer very likeable and everything round! Highly recommended and worth all his money!!!

Wonderful day with Macho’s boys who took us on the trip up the mountain to the farm. Very friendly and felt safe. Had a nice break halfway to enjoy a fresh coconut (juice) and tangerines. The farm is a spectacular view and Juan and his family grow a lot of fruit and vegetables and not just coffee. Pressing and tasting the fresh sugar cane and seeing how coffee is produced from growing to grinding to drinking it was awesome! It ends with a homemade lunch that was healthy and delicious! Highly recommend this tour.

The tour guides were all really lovely and they spent extra time with us which was really neat. They gave my family a bigger ATV. My son has challenges walking and they were so helpful, although I do think the walk to the waterfall was too hard for people with mobility issues. The food was excellent. We loved stopping to see the view a few times. It was the best part of our trip so far, booking this tour!

We did the tour with Junior who was an awesome guide. It’s a blast riding the ATV’s around Nosara’s bumpy roads. The coffee farm was incredible. Juan and his family opened their home to us and made a wonderful meal. We had an incredible experience, and it was all super easy to coordinate with the folks at Tierra Costa. Highly recommend!
