ATV Excursion Through the Beaches and Mountains of Nevis

A wonderful experience! The views are amazing and the guide is very knowledgeable and friendly the local snacks are a bonus! Highly recommend doing this tour!

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing excursion and not one I could recommend—unless you have exhausted the better options on the island and are simply looking for something to fill a few hours. As a full-time traveller for the past 20 months, I have taken numerous ATV excursions in the Caribbean and elsewhere, and this was by far one of the least interesting and least well-organised experiences I have had. The pickup point shown on Viator was around a 15-minute walk from the actual pickup location. Fortunately, I arrived early and therefore still made the pickup, but anyone relying on the pin shown in the app could very easily miss the tour. When the guide eventually arrived, I showed him the incorrect Viator location on my phone. He did not seem especially concerned and did not indicate that he would raise the issue with Viator or the tour operator. I found this surprising, given that an inaccurate pickup pin can cause genuine problems for guests. Ironically, the owner of the Pelican chair-rental business—where the correct pickup point should have been marked—was far more concerned. After I showed him the incorrect pin on my phone, he was helpful and clearly interested in getting the information corrected with Viator, despite having no connection to the ATV business itself. The itinerary suggested that we would pass various sights, but “pass by” really meant speeding past them at roughly 40 km/h, with little opportunity to appreciate or photograph anything. There was also no stop at the hotel or “baths”, despite these appearing on the advertised experience. I was the only guest on the tour, and I came away with the impression that the guide simply wanted to finish as quickly as possible and get on with his day. We also had a trainee rider with us whose ATV repeatedly developed problems, meaning we had to stop and wait at least five times. Even so, the excursion ended earlier than I had expected. Given the cost and the significantly better ATV experiences I have had elsewhere in the Caribbean and around the world, I found this tour poor value and underwhelming.

My wife and I had an amazing time on the ATV excursion in Nevis! Chris was a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. The mountain trails were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the interesting historical stops along the way. It was a great mix of adventure, sightseeing, and learning about Nevis. Highly recommend this excursion and definitely ask for Chris!

The tour was incredible. Kris showed us multiple spots on the island while giving us an explanation of everything. Was very helpful with driving the atvs and taking us to spots that we would not normally be able to reach! Highly recommend doing this!

20/10 experience!! As a Solo Female traveler I'm always on guard when traveling but this was truly such an amazing experience. I was the only one on the tour and Chris was an amazing guide from start to finish! Firstly instructions for the ATV itself were simple and to the point! After a run through and a few practice laps we were off for an amazing adventure. The route was amazing good mix of smooth / rocky (more fun) terrain, Chris lead the route with clear directions constantly checking in on the ride. Every stop was so informative and the local treats along the way made it even better! Chris is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he is so passionate about the history of the island. I again cannot recommend this enough as a solo traveler! He was a perfect gentlemen all throughout. So happy I got to experience this! Thanks Chris! (P.s he hooked it up with the pics too!!)

Kris was an exceptional tour guide! When I travel, I like to indulge in a mix of culture, history and nature. Kris understood this and shared windows into the vibrant culture of Nevisians, how their past shaped their way of life, architecture, farming practices, etc. There was pride and joy in his explanation of past and present island life. I’d never ridden on an atv or scooter before so I was nervous, but Kris gave me a lesson, assured me I’ll be fine and remained patient throughout the excursion. We toured for about 2.5 hours and I was able to completely disconnect from my gadgets and the usual reality and immersed myself into the landscape of this beautiful island. I have tons of pics and videos he took throughout the tour, and this allowed me to be present in the moment. I was the only one on the tour that afternoon and I felt safe and respected the whole time, plus motor vehicles are in excellent working order. I highly recommend this tour, it’s good value and experience for the money! Thank you Kris and Supreme Motorsports!

Take a break from the beach and go off-roading with Chris. We are not ATV people but Chris made this a nice afternoon. He helped us on the vehicles, stopped at some historic sites and a nice overlook and even came with us to the hot springs on the way back to our drop off point. He has natural popsicles and drinks too. Our family had a lot of fun.
