This excursion is perfect for group family and friends At this point, you will board an authentic Cayuco boat, to cruise through tropical mangroves on a canal dug to connect the harbors and bays. A Cayuco is a rustic, motorized canoe making this a true experience of what the locals use in their everyday lives. Make sure to keep an eye out for wildlife along the banks including a wide variety of birds. The cayuco boat ride takes about 1 hour. Then, your air-conditioned transportation will be waiting to take you on a 10-minute ride to the politily bight Restaurant. This is your Roatan atv and Lunch excursion base camp. You will be matched with a atv that suits your skills and weight, and after brief instructions you will be riding your atv to a secluded jungle and local community . You will board the transportation for a 20-minute air-conditioned drive to the ATV excursion base camp to enjoy your ATV 4-wheel ride. The ATVs have automatic transmissions and are easy to drive as a beginner or advanced rider. Your guide will give you a briefing on the operation and safety instructions before heading off on a guided adventure. A safety helmet is provided and must be worn at all times. Your ATV shore excursion ride will take you through the lush jungle countryside and you'll be able to glimpse the wildlife that makes this island home. Some of the places you'll see are Punta Gorda, the Garifuna Village, Isery Restaurant Boat, and more! Enjoy views of the ocean while driving on dirt roads and over streams. You can satisfy your sense of adventure on this hour-and-a-half excursion.
after all of the fun activities you will stop and relax and have a local lunch that is included in your package, it will be time to head off to the restaurant where you can enjoy fried fish,pork,shrimp,chicken with the following siding plantains rice, salad, beans, and a soft drink or water. after all of these fun activities you are bound to be tired then we will go to one off Roatan white sand beach where you can lay back and relax or Sweem in the water

Meeting instructions: Mahogany Bay: Upon debarkation of your cruise ship at Mahogany Bay Cruise Center, walk past the shopping area. You will see the white taxis; at that point, make a left straight up the hill. When you see a green gate, walk through it and walk down to where you see people holding signs. Look for the one that says Roatan Henry Tour, and ask for Creg. Let him know you have a reservation with him and tell him your name. Coxen Hole Pier: Upon debarkation, walk through and past the main shopping area on your right. Turn right when you see sales booths. You may be confronted by other vendors offering their tours. They will be very persistent, but keep telling them that you are all set. Keep walking towards the exit gates to the main street. If you have any trouble finding the exit, ask the security professionals at the pier, who will assist you with finding the exit to the main street. As you exit through the gates, look to the right, where you will see people waiting and holding signs. Look for the one that says Roatan Henry Tour, and ask for Creg. Let him know you have a reservation with him and tell him your name.

The tour was great from start to finish. Our guide Carlos was so nice and since he was from the village, was very knowledgeable and told us all the history of Roatan! He even took us to a coffee and chocolate tasting when we told him we liked coffee! I can’t recommend them enough

The AtVs and the tour were fun Our driver was so polite and great We had an amazing time with the wildlife Would highly recommend
Pick a different option! The tour operator's directions to find them were great and clear. Upon walking to the pickup location, we were informed the "bus" was no longer available so our group of 11 was stuffed into two compact SUVs! That's 5 adults in each of the two employee's personal vehicles for over a 1hr drive in each direction. The Mangrove boat tour was enjoyable but the boat operator was sharing far too personal nature of stories and belabored the boat ride so much that we had to cut the ATV riding by more than half the time and didn't get the chocolate tasting that was promised. The lunch was horrible. Covered in flies and in a building with horribly disgusting bathrooms (would have been more sanitary to go to the bathroom outside). The lunch was provided by the people that own the ATVs and took so long, we had to shorten the ATV trip evenmore. The ATVs were in complete disrepair! Flat tires, broken tie-rods so only one wheel would turn, kept stalling, horrible brakes. NOT SAFE! The entire ATV ride that was supposed to be 1hr lasted 20min and was a simple down the road, 10min on a trail, and turned around. Then another 1hr drive back to the cruise pier cramming 5 adults into the same two compact SUVs. The driver kept turning off the A/C becasue he was "cold" despite zero airflow to the passengers in the back of the SUV enduring sweltering heat in the cramped conditions. Onto the bad that wasn't the tour operator's fault, the island roads are completely tore up, are dirt roads in places, and riddled with car swallowing sized pot holes. So sad that people had to endure a 1hr drive on those roads in cramped vehicles. The drivers were both nice, full of conversation and information. It's too bad we didn't book a conversation trip in a cramped SUV otherwise this would be an excellent review. So disappointed! Will be pursuing a refund!
Our drivers were very friendly and told area Information along the way to our first stop. The mangrove tour was amazing and just being on the water. Took a little longer than we expected but still had fun. The food samples were so good and because we were short on time, our atv tour got cut a little short. Overall I would recommend
This trip was my absolute favorite from the cruise I went on. Our driver Derrick, was super accommodating and extremely helpful. He kept us safe and gave us insight about the whole island. The Mangrove cruise was relaxing and had amazing views. The Captain even offered to make a pit stop and we got to hold sea turtles and feed large fish sardines. After the boat ride the Atvs were fun and really exciting. You can really grasp a sense of the culture on this ride, it is very eye opening. You can expect to get a little muddy, however it is mostly avoidable if you want to. The food given after the Atvs was great, had a mixture of many foods. Afterwards, our driver Derrick told us about a bunch of other fun activities we can do on the island. We decided we wanted to check out the Zoo, it was an extra 15$ but it was very worth it. We got to hold macaws, sloths, and Monkeys. Overall, this trip was a 20/10. Great price, great people, and the ability do the little extra things really made this trip unforgettable! Highly recommend!
Great tour. The mangroves was beautiful and the food was pretty tasty. This is a sweet family owned business. Not sure if there’s usually a beach visit but we did not have time for a stop at the beach as described. Be sure to ask if that’s something you want to do.
