We visit Athens as travelers, not as tourists. We get as excited as you to travel, to enjoy history/culture, scenery, photography. If you want to see everything that Athens has to offer, then we suggest both modern & classical Athens sites in a full day tour. The day starts with convenient pickup and then takes you to the Acropolis Hill, Zeus Temple, Olympic stadium, Plaka, ancient & modern Agora, Lycavetus hill and many more. Schedule is flexible, but most importantly we can drive on small roads and you will see Athens from all different angles. We are dedicated to show you the Athens we know and love, as travelers and not as tourists and for this reason we will avoid the tourist traps. You also have the flexibility to explore each attraction independently or add a licensed archaeologist guide (extra cost).

Kalimarmaro Stadium (fine Marble stadio) which held the first modern Olympic games in 1896, now hosting ceremonial events & live music concerts. Stop for photography. There is a ticket in case you would like to enter.
Visit the ancient temple on the site of an ancient outdoor sanctuary dedicated to Olympic Zeus. Largest temple in Greece. Ticket cost 10€ Nov1st / Mar31st) and 20€ (Apr1st/Oct31st)
Sightseeing in Athens starts with the Acropolis hill and includes: Dionysus & Herodion theaters, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental entrance (Propylaea), the Erechtheion and the famous Parthenon Temple, which was dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena. Famous landmark featuring, the ancient temple of Hephaestus, the ruins of an ancient Greek gathering place & a museum with artifacts. Ancient Greek Agora is known as the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and free speech. Entrance fee' Winter 4€/ Summer 8€. Ticket includes Agora Museum & Hephestus Temple.
Stoa (Portico) of Attalos. Rebuilt ancient structure once a gathering place & market, now a museum housing Athenian artifacts.

Fish, meat & produce are sold at this central market, also featuring restaurants.
Enter Monastiraki. Next stop (optional) is going to be at a traditional Greek restaurant with authentic Greek dishes or have a quick stop for a Pitta Gyros ( Souvlaki) Monastiraki in Athens, known also as the flea market. We will walk through taking unique photos
Syntagma square: The city's broad, tree-lined central square, with a fountain, cafes & park benches. Old palace from 1800s serve now as Greek parliament, with ceremonial guards & a memorial for unidentified soldiers. See and take photos of the famous Evzones / soldiers in their unique costumes. The highest hill in center of Athens 280m ( 1000 feet) with a panoramic 360 view of the city. Great opportunity for Panoramic Photos from Acropolis, Stadium, Aegean Sea. Minibus it's difficult to approach.
Ultramodern glass & steel museum housing ancient artifacts from the Acropolis archaeological site. Visit (optional) or have a drink in its veranda with a great view of Parthenon. Veranda cafe restaurant its free entrance. Museum ticket is 20€

- The tour driver is not a licensed tour guide to accompany you on your walk to the top of the Acropolis or inside any other site or museum. If you require an archaeologist guide to tour the sites with you, you need to hire one additionally. Your driver provides informative audio documentary & historical details as you travel.
- Booking hours: Tour is private & flexible (up to 8 hours). However we only request to have in mind the agreement hours. But if you like to extend it, please make a fair arrangement with your tour driver/ leader. Additional charge per hour is 35€ (Sedan) - 50€ (Minivan) - 65€ (Minibus).

The team of Niko and Christos made our time in Athens a memorable one. From a seamless pickup at the airport to a perfectly timed tour of Athens highlights in order to catch the changing of the guard, they were exceptional. When we had trouble purchasing our Acropolis tickets prior to our arrival, the team helped troubleshoot and deliver. They made getting to our cruise easy and then a beautiful morning drive along the Athenian Riveria on our way back to the airport. It was hard to leave!

Incredible visit to Athens, we did a private tour with Nikos, treated us wonderfully. A great tour with Nikos. This is our second tour with him, and as always, it was incredible. This time we took a cruise, and during our stop in Athens, I didn't hesitate to book him. He showed us the best spots in the city.

Great experience! Our fantastic driver was waiting for us at the Cruise terminal and helped us with our luggage. He drove us to the highlights mentioned in the trip description. Christos was the very best of guides to help us enjoy our one day in Athens. He shared the views of the Acropolis from heights and perspectives that took our breath away. He helped us feel like we were with a friend who wanted to share the city he lives in and loves. When traffic delays caused us to miss the changing of the guard, no problem!
