The Athens full-day tour depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896.
Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and finally Acropolis (including also Parthenon, Erechtheion, Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Areopagus). Stroll up to the UNESCO-listed site that served as the ancient citadel, and tour the buildings as you hear how they reflected Athens’ prosperity in the 5th century BC.
Continue the expert guided Athens sightseeing and Acropolis museum one day tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the Acropolis Museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you.
After a morning tour full of images continue in a local restaurant under the slopes of Acropolis for lunch. Cape Sounion is only 45 miles (70 kilometers) from Athens, making it the perfect lazy afternoon tour destination. Your expert archaeologist escort will dive you into the history, the myths and the legends of the temple which was built here in 44 B.C. on a hilltop overlooking the sea. It was dedicated to Poseidon, god of the seas. Entering the archaeological site, you will have one-hour free time to enjoy the remaining of the temple and the breathtaking views over the Aegean sea. Good for a solo traveler to join a group. The drive to Temple of Poseidon is a bit over an hour. If you have limited time, it may be best to stay in Athens.

Amazing mind blowing experience to climb up that hill and get up close and personal view of Parthenon. No words can describe that feeling. Had a very good certified guide from Keyy Tours who was extremely knowledgeable and shared every bit of info of the place.

Anastasia was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job! She gave us so much information about Greece, Athens, and the wonderful historical sites that we visited. Her energy level was Amazing and her knowledge was outstanding! She took the time to ask each of us individually if we had questions throughout the day.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable about Greek history and mythology. Cape Sounion is really incredible. One issue was they did not drop us back off at our hotel. It was supposed to be the Attalos hotel and they dropped us off at Omonoia Square. It’s like three blocks but it was raining so that kinda sucked. Otherwise good

I arrived at the tour office 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time and checked in. The lady said that they will call everyone in about 2 minutes. The office was very busy and extremely hot. No aircon was on. I said i would wait outside. A few minutes later a staff member called for the Athens city tour and I thought that could not be me as I am on the Athens full day tour of the Acropolis, museum, lunch and Cape Sounion. I waited for about 5 minutes and then went inside and asked when my tour was leaving. Turns out that everyone was waiting on the bus for me. Anyway the first half of the tour was good. The tour bus did not stop at the Olympic stadium as advertised. When i questioned this i was told that the tour busses are no longer allowed to stop there and they didn't have time to change the information. The guide was very knowledgeable and it was very interesting. Lunch was a disappointment. I ordered the chicken Gyros. It arrived with 2 tiny pieces of pita and the chicken was very dry. The afternoon trip to Cape Sounion was not good. The guide was not very knowledgeable and was simply reading from a script. Waste of time in my view. Overall not worth the money and time.

Keytours and its partner Headouts made me wait for more than 1 hour at the wrong address, making me miss the tour and a day of my vacation. The worst part is that although the address on the voucher, confirmation email and countless conversations with the customer service center asked me to wait at the wrong address, they only apologized, but did not reschedule the tour or refund the money.
Learned a lot, would never be able to see all of this without the guides. They were vey knowledgeable and quite friendly
