In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and take you to the Arusha National Park. The park has an incredible variety of fauna and flora, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this region to film the movie “Hatari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Your day trip will include a visit to the Ngurdo Crater. Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and baboons can be seen all year round as well as many different bird species. At the Momella Gate, an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari for extra charges, that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour in the safari vehicle through the Arusha National Park.

The morning weather was seriously chilly, but the tour vehicle was prepared well. Good ventilation when needed and proper warmth when the temperature dropped. The drive around Nairobi National Park and mara was relaxed, with enough comfort to concentrate on the admirations and wildlife instead of thinking about the cold. Good planning, honestly.

Before to go Kilimanjaro and safari we booked day trip to Arusha national park with walking safari, the park is close to Arusha town, our guide David and our ranger Good luck were good and they know the park very well, we saw buffalo, monkey, warthog, girrafe and many more, food was delicious and gluten free for our request

Arusha National Park will always be one of our favourite parks. It's a great way to spend a morning or afternoon on the first or last day of your safari, before heading "out of town". It’s only about 45 minutes from Arusha and it’s a great way to spend a leisurely day before heading out onto Safari. There are no big cats in this park, so you can get out on foot to see things up close. We took a guided walk with a Ranger before having lunch by a lake and spending the rest of the day on a game drive in the park. The best part of this park is how close you can get to the giraffes. Our guide kept leading us closer and closer to a family of giraffes, so close that we could hear them chewing on the Acacia trees, and see their eyelashes and the hair on their horns. The route of the hike passes a beautiful waterfall, and the park has great views of Mount Meru, even Mount Kilimanjaro. Highly recommend!

Arusha National Park is a stunning destination known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes. During our visit, we were captivated by the sight of fighting neck giraffes, showcasing their unique behavior. The park is also home to numerous baboons, which added to the vibrant atmosphere. With its picturesque scenery, including Mount Meru and lush forests, Arusha National Park offers a fantastic experience for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Inside there is a fresh waterfall to spend a visit.

I had a great full day with Norah and Happy. These 2 ladies we super friendly guides and took me on a day trip to Arusha National park. HIGHLY recommend Norah and Happy for their animal and nature knowledge, friendliness and enthusiasm. Happy is a great photographer. I was on a business trip with one day to spare. At the end of the day I still wanted to get some souvenirs for my family. They helped me by taking me to a local market, negotiating and we even had dinner together at a local restaurant. They even drove me to my hotel to get my luggage and dropped me at the airport. I really appreciate your additional effort and care. I had an amazing day. I would say Arusha super experience. The one-day safari was as it said on the tin. The guide knew his trade (he went to university for learning that specialty), and there was little or nothing amiss. This resulted in a great day, seeing what was to be seen.
We had an amazing day trip. We saw monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, flamingos, zebras. The landrover and our guide were great.

I had a full day Safari to Arusha National Park, including a 2 hours walking safari. We saw buffalos, many giraffes, colobus monkeys, warthogs in a wonderful landscape with Mount Meru in the distance. The packed lunch was delicious and the guide very helpful. Pick up from and drop off at Hotel was punctual Good Landcruiser Safari vehicle. Value for money was good.
